 + -1 moreLike I said - if I had the means to build more I would ... in a heatbeat and I would give him free reign to do whatever he wanted. His vision and skills are that great. I trust him explicitly. Even when there were challenges - and when you build from scratch of course there are going to be glitches - he was professional, kind, practical and honest. He never tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and always took the time to explain to me the 'whys' of his suggestions/actions. Priceless.
Description of Work: Building Adventures built a custom Log Home for me - which I made into a vacation rental. We were just awarded "Best Cabin in the Northwest" and a great deal had to do with the amazing job that Richard did. His attention to detail and his 'old-world' craftsmanship is unparalleled. Everywhere you look in this house you see the evidence of his uncompromising standards and his unique talents. I wish I had the money to build four more - I would! Richard took an idea and improved upon it ...making adjustments that were entirely necessary, practical and would not have worked had he not made them. And I wouldn't have known better until it was done. But I trusted him and everything he suggested had sound reasoning and practical solutions. His 30-plus years as a master builder shows in everything he does.
