I had a negative view of using car dealerships for service, thinking they would be too expensive for the quality of service I would get, but Lum's Auto in Warrenton, OR changed my view. My check engine light came on so I took it to Lum's to run a diagnoses check on their computer. They ran the computerized scan, found that it was an oxygen sensor, narrowed it down to a faulty gas cap. They replaced my gas cap and charged me NOTHING! Computerized scan - no charge, gas cap - no charge. While it was there they also checked all my fluid levels, tire pressure, etc. - no charge. Now I understand that they won't do everything for no charge - but I like the fact that this time they went above and beyond what was necessary. I have taken my car to them for all of my regular oil changes and for 1 other repair since then. They have been competitively priced, and tell me what is necessary to repair and what repairs I might want to consider in the future - ie belt is showing wear and fatigue but probably not absolutely necessary for another year. I own a service business and run 3 service trucks - I have started taking all of our business to Lum's. 1 other reason I like supporting their business is they literally give $1000's of dollars to local schools to help support education.

They are fine, the facilities are clean, I just drive in and they take care of you right away.
