I dropped cable with this company as I had nothing but problems with them but unfortunately they monopolize my area of residence.  I have recently gone with Dish and am totally happy.  They sent me the equipment and I had to figure out to connect and set it up.l  Luckily my granddaughter was able to help me with this

Over the past few years using Comcast, I have felt more and more cheated by my service. As the price continues (almost monthly) to rise, I always stop to see what has changed in my service and really nothing has. We pay premium for the "best" internet and yet we still have the slowest download and streaming of all my friends houses I've been to. I am ready to switch providers and am looking at Direct Tv/Bundle for our next tv and internet provider

Our internet service had been interminttent for several months on a
daily basis. Many phone calls, automated help, redirecting us to call
some other "arm" of their organization directly, disconnects - 30-45 minutes on hold and reboots. Then one day our connection stopped completely the second day I had the stamina to call again. This time they made an appointment to come out to see the problem. He did not arrive as scheduled, but we did receive a phone call 15 minutes before the end of the 1-4 window to say he'd be delayed. An hour later he did repair the lines and now the connection works! The tech was competent and polite and pleasant.

It went horribly.  The net result in both cases was a far cry from what had been promised.  Then it proves exhasperating to get someone back on the line.  Way too much time wasted.  The ultimate conclusion was that Comcast was incompetent or dishonest, but most likely both.  Various people that I have talked to subsequently say that this comes as no surprise and their perception is that it's probably "both."  Needless to say, I'll never useComcast again, regardless of their come-on prices.

I feel that Comcast is a very frustrating company to work with.  I feel that I am constantly being up-sold to bigger services at a a higher cost.  I contacted Comcast to move my cable and internet services when I moved, a seemingly easy transition.  Not the case at all.  I researched services online to know what i wanted, when I called Comcast.  The agent I spoke with told me that the services were only available online and he could not sell them to me.  I was transferred to another department that dealt specifically with moving services.  After explaining my needs three times to different people, I finally decided to cancel my service.  After canceling my service, I went online and ordered internet service for my new house, I asked that the equipment be mailed to me with a self install kit for $9.95.  I did not order cable and I went out and bought antennas for our tvs, I'll miss HGTV, but I won't miss the monthly fee for cable.

The technician was very nice but the issues were not resolved. We only agreed to the technician coming for a service call because we had been transferred to so many different people on our phone call that we ended up with someone in a different country trying to sell us an extra (unneeded) service package. I find working with this company frustrating. We were charged for the technician on top of our already too high monthly bill.

Installer was highly professional and helpful. But old account info was not automatically transferred to new account info online, and it took several phone calls to get the ball rolling.  Supposedly a "network gliche".

My current plan had expired and I was looking to save money without giving up services.  I knew I good do if I threatened to go to DirectTV, but I was tired of playing that game.  To my surprise the customer service rep was very helpful and I ended with more services at less cost.  First time that happened.

I attempted to pay my bill with Comcast well before the due date and recieved a confirmation for the payment I made.  When I looked at my bill for the following month, it showed the bill had been paid, but my total included two months charges.  I called to check and was informed that the payment did not process (No Reason Given) and that I had a late charge.  I told the person on the line, and he confirmed, that the payment had been made in time.  He said I could make the payment over the phone and they would reverse the late payment charge - he then transferred me to another customer service rep.  I went through the whole scenario with her and she said she didn't understand why I was told the charge could be reversed.  She was not interested in helping me at all.  So I asked to speak to a supervisor.  After getting a heafty dose of attitude from her, she transferred me to the voice mail of a supervisor.  I left a lengthy voice mail and do not expect a phone call back.  I then tried the online chat, and after a lengthy process of telling "Addie" the situation, I was then told, "since this has been escalated to our supervisor, this will need to be reviewed respectively, and will be subject for their approval, since we chat analyst have limited access when it comes to this matter."
Two sentences later she said I could call back if I didn't hear from the supervisor and they could take care of it.
Wait... WHAT?  Why can't we just take care of it now?!
For the amount of money I pay for this service and because I have never had a late payment before, I expect to get some decent customer service.
In the end, "Addie" told me to wait 72 hours for a call back from the supervisor.  And that's where it stands.

We had a very good experience with them. They provide phone service that doesn't fail and the internet service is pretty fast and the TV comes on. They are very reliable, and their punctuality and professionalism is fine. We will use them again in the future.
