Adan Villa showed up on time and figured out the problem very quickly and offered a couple of solutions. He made the repairs and was on his was way in about 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable and polite.

I was impressed with the owner's ideas on proposed umprovements and decided after meeting Adan that I would go with them even if they were slightly more. They ended up being low of the 3 bidders and performed excellent quality work, starting 2 days early and completing on time, even with work that I added.

Adan & his crew built a retaining wall. It turned out beautifully. They work very hard & in pouring rain!! This is the 2nd time we've used S&Q. They did pavers & landscaping. We will use them next year also! A great business!

Excellent job! Following phone call, Mr. Villa came out promptly and gave us a bid. He and his crew arrived 2 days later at 8 am and worked until 6pm. They cleaned, trimmed - and their truck was full by the end of the day with yard debris! They left the site clean-this is important since our yard goes down to the street below and essentially it's our neighbors view. They are happy with the results and we're delighted. S & Q landscape is awesome!  Adan (the owner) and his company are knowledgeable and very professional.  We hired them to maintain and care for our lawn while we prepared our house for sale.  The know their craft and apply it well.  I believe the fact that our house sold so quickly was no small part due to the curb appeal their workmanship created.  I would, and have, recommended them to anyone.  The only negative thing for us is that since we are moving out of the area they will not be able to provide this same service at our new home.  If you need lawn care, call them today!

As I get older I realize how important people like Adan and his crew are to help me stay in my home, because they make it possible for me to remain independent, even though I can no longer do heavy yard work.

His crew is very friendly and thorough. My grass is the nicest grass on the whole street! He takes care of seeding and fertilizing without me even asking. Heck, I wouldn't even know what to ask for...He must use a secret recipe to make my grass so lush and green!!
He even brings my garbage, recycle and yard debris bins back behind the house because he happens to come every week right after the garbage man does. So when I get home from work I get to relax instead of bringing all those bins back from the curb. You can't imagine how many cold, dark, rainy nights that I have smiled when I saw my bins were already put away for me.
I have had Adan help me with several special projects and he always goes above what I ask him to do. For example, I asked him to cut down some tall bushes/small trees and he cut and stacked the wood into logs when I told him I might use them for firewood. That required him to haul the logs next to the garage and stack against a back fence. All of that was done safely, quickly and for very little money. And he has a very sweet smile and always is smiling, even when I forget to turn off the auto sprinklers and he gets doused!
Yard work is back breaking work and he does it all without one complaint and a great big smile. He is such a humble man who is a little shy and always trying to please. He will break his back trying to do the best job possible. He doesn't charge much at all and all these years he has never raised my rates. His prices are very fair and reasonable enough that you can use his services regularly.
I have recommended him to several friends and they are also very pleased after they see how clean and perfect their yard is after he's done. Most of them decide to hire him to come weekly after that. I also have friends who just use his service for spring cleaning, and he is very happy to do that with no pressure for more.

I wish I could afford to give all of my friends a free yard care gift once a year so they could enjoy the freedom from all the raking, mowing and having to buy and maintain all the edging and cutting equipment.
My yard looks professionally done with crisp, clean edging and my garage isn't full of tools and machinery I have to sharpen and replace. My back isn't sore on Monday from trying to get a lawn mower goingand hauling yard clippings and wet leaves .One time I saw a great deal on wood chips so I bought 5 bags and sat them outside next to the house until I got time to spread them on my pathways. Imagine how pleased I was when I got home and the work was already done for me, the sidewalks swept and the bags disposed of- without an extra charge!!!
I used to drive to the coast or the woods to get away from it all, but now I can simply enjoy my back yard! I realized I was avoiding yardwork, procrastinating, and pretending I didn't have yardwork to do by running away. But since Adan and his crew come every Wednesday, my yard is ready to enjoy every Friday night when I get home from work. What a joy! A gift everyone should give to themselves. Every Friday night I get the grill going, open a cold one, sit on my butt and admire my gorgeous yard! And then I do that again on Saturday and Sunday- never fighting traffic to escape- having to think about all the yardwork I SHOULD be doing. AND if I FEEL like doing some gardening, I only do what I WANT to do. I get to do the fun stuff. ehehehe!
Call me spoiled if you want but never call me stupid. This is the smartest thing I've ever done. The NICEST thing I've ever done for myself. And you should do it too!

I had called Mr. Villa on a Tuesday afternoon for an estimate to get the shrubs and stumps removed on a home we are fixing up in South Salem. He set up an appointment for 6 pm the next day, and was at the house on time. He gave me a very reasonable cost for the work, so we scheduled the work for Saturday morning. Mr. Villa and his assistant arrived slightly earlier than scheduled on Saturday morning, did the work quickly and efficiently, and left a clean work area when they were done. It would have taken us hours with clippers, chain saw and shovel to do the work, and then we'd still have to dispose of a large amount of yard debris, so for the price paid, it was well worth the money!

Adan responded to our initial call in good time. He made an appointment to provide an estimate within a few days. However, he was unable to understand the directions. He then phoned from a nearby location, to clarify. I told him how to get here and he apparently had enough trouble with the English that he was unable to understand or ask clarifying questions. He said he'd look on his map and to give him 20 minutes. He did not show up or call, even after two calls back to him to see if he wanted us to come find him.He never did show up or return our phone calls. This was very disappointing and unprofessional.

Adan responded to my call immediately and came the next day to give an estimate. His estimate was extremely fair considering the amount of work involved. A few days later, he and another man arrived right on time. They began work right away.. The edger was going within 90 seconds after their arrival! They worked non-stop ( and at warp speed) for the next 4 hours - stopping only to check with me to be sure they were doing exactly what was needed. They left no messes behind and drove off with a huge truck filled to overflowing with debris. The result was amazing.

Adan is very pleasant and easy to work with. Aside from yard maintenance, he is also a an arborist and gave us information on our trees.

I have been using this landscape service for the past year and a half after my hairdresser gave him rave reviews. I had 2 previous experiences with other yard services that were BAD and asked her to recommend someone. She gave Adan Villa such high regards that I called himt he very next day. My grass was mostly weeds and my yard neglected, so i was quite embarrassed when Adan showed up. He gave me an estimate of $180 to bring my yard back to life and give my yard a total spring clean-up. However after he performed the work he only charged $150 and I could not believe it was the same yard. AMAZING! So I hired him and his assistant as my regular yard maintenance and have not had to lift a finger since in my yard- yet I have the nicest yard on the block. He comes and treats the weeds, applys fertilizer, and all the stuff that makes lawns beautiful. He takes care of all of it. He knows when to trim certain bushes, trees, and I never have to worry about things outside my door. He comes rain or shine and never misses a week, even when it snows! LOL! I have recommended him to at least 5 other friends and he has done such a great job for them as well that I am proud to recommend him to anyone without hesitation. He goes all the way to my friends house in Stayton and to Aumsville. He has done stump grinding for a friend of mine and she said he has all the right equipment and did an excellent job. Great prices, professional, on time and easy to work with. Call him!
