He was a nice guy to work with, and took in account what we had to say. We just decided not go with this project. His price was also very good. We were looking for a designer, but he was not as creative for what we would want for our project.

He was great. He was very prompt with his appointment. He was organized and had good ideas that I hadn't thought about that would be interesting for the remodel. He was low key, pleasant and easy to talk to. We had interviewed two other architects and he was the one that was the most helpful so we choose him.

Jim was professional and attentive to the design being what we wanted.

Jim Wagner performed work for us approximately 1 year ago in creating a plan for converting an unfinished attic into a bonus room. He was incredibly thorough and attentive to details, especially structural issues to ensure that all areas were properly made or fitted for the load-bearing that would occur with adding a "3rd floor". He was in contact with structural engineers, and provided us with an excellent referral for the contractor to perform the renovation (JM Crossley construction). He ensured that the needs all fit current Lake Oswego building code. The whole project went VERY WELL from start to finish, and if we had any remodeling or architectural needs, we would definitely call Jim again!

Jim did a great job. He was very professional and a joy to work with. We had many ideas and pictures from other houses that included remodel ideas we liked. Jim took those ideas and applied them to our remodel drawings. He listened to us and worked with us through about 4 or 5 drawing revisions until we had just what we wanted. He did a wonderful job of updating our house to a Craftsman Style house complete with Knee Braces, Belly Bands, and Cedar Shingle Siding. The plans were complete with a new Timber Beam Entry and new Rock Accents. We absolutely love the finished product.

We were very pleased with our experience in using Jim Wagner of Wagner Designs. The design looked just the way we wanted it to on paper, and in reality, the completed addition is better than we expected. Just about every step of the way, our expectations were exceeded. Jim was very accommodating during the early phase of our project when we were still trying to turn our ideas into something tangible. He was never condescending toward us as he lead us through our vision. Once the project started in earnest, he was always easy to contact and returned our calls promptly. He was always thinking a couple steps ahead of us. The design is what we wanted yet also incorporates much more beauty and function than we envisioned on our own. We have subsequently received many compliments on the quality of the design and plan to use Jim in a couple years when we start on our vacation home project.

MR. WAGNER WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS, BUT REALLY TOOK INTO CONSIDERATION WHAT WE WANTED IN OUR HOUSE AND MADE IT WORK FOR US. HE WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND WE HAVE HAD MANY PEOPLE STOP BY AND ASK US WHO WE USED TO DESIGN OUR HOUSE.
