This company was easy to work with and eased our worries about a big project. They worked hard and the people employed by them were professional and friendly. The natural red oak floors are beautiful and hopefully will provide many years of durability and enjoyment.

I was perfect from start to finish. They were a pleasure to deal with, they gave me great information about how to prepare, they did great work, and they gave me great advice on how to care for the floors after they were finished.

I got two quotes. Both contractors seemed knowledgeable, and prices were similar. I chose Rob Carey of Solid Wood Floors because he immediately started explaining how to fix a problem that has bothered me for years, i.e., the floor was not sanded correctly when originally installed, and the result was a wavy surface. Rob came on time to bid, and work was done on time. Rob and his son Ethan are both very personable and good communicators. His workers are experienced and polite. There were a few things to clean up at the end, but those small details were quickly addressed. The people were nice; the price was right, and the floor looks great. What more can you want?

The work was done on schedule in 2 days as promised.  We were well informed and about the smells, curing process and other potential issues, so there were no surprises, except that we did not know how much work they actually do in a day and how beautiful the floor would be when done.  The workers were all polite, professional and very meticulous.  We are so glad we did not try to do this ourselves!

Rob was great to work with! Very professional, punctual, and efficient. Returned phone calls in timely manner. Was accurate in how long it would take them to start and complete the job. Matched the color perfectly. It's hard to find someone to travel all the way to Woodland, WA where our home is, but Rob had no problem with the distance. The floors look beautiful!
