We have purchased two custom-built computers from Softserve and are very happy with both of them. The new computers cost way less than purchasing them at a big box store! Softserve PC is the best at rushing to my aid when I've jammed up the computer. I have never had to wait more than 1 day for their help. I typically send an email outlining the problem and amazingly they will email me back with a simple solution. Works every time! If it's something that cannot be fixed remotely they will come over asap.

Marv at Softserve PCs is great. He is very knowledgeable and explains what he is doing in terms the end user can understand . I have used him over the years a couple of times. He also will respond to simple questions via text and can connect remotely with a secured system to troubleshoot without you having to take your computer in. He works efficiently and his charges are very reasonable for the work performed.

Marvin called and walked me thru diagnosing the problem with my PC without charging me a cent. I was able to go thru the steps he suggested and was able to fix the problem myself (with his help of course). If ever I need PC support again, I will definitely take my computer in to have his service fix it. Thank you!

Knowing the end-of-days was here for my Win 7 OS I contacted Marvin to discuss options. Rather than gamble that my old PC would hold up I decided to buy one of Marvin's custom built machines. We thoroughly discussed how I would use it and he made sure I would have the components that would work best for me. He handled the entire transfer of all my programs and data including some challenging twists from an old legacy program I didn't want to lose. He even did a couple of follow-up remote logons to make sure everything was working perfectly. If it were possible to give Marvin a higher grade than "A" I would!!

Some of the problems I was having was caused by the way I was doing things. Marvin took the time to explain what I was doing wrong and how to correct it. I also had software on the computer that he removed as it was tracking software. He explained what he thought was causing the computer problem and how to correct the issues. I will keep track of how I do things and have him come back if what he recommended does not work. I was very happy with his work and learned a lot from him and would highly recommend his service.

Marvin was very professional, knowledgeable, and technically current; provided excellent information about how a new high end system would be built and merged with my old system. timeline for building, developing and installing the new computer was thoroughly explained; complete itemization for all work was provided. the new computer was installed complete with all my old computer files, programs, bookmarks, favorites, contacts, etc.; when the computer was turned on everything from my old computer was there, only faster and more current--i did not lose any data from the transfer. Marvin was easy to talk with, listened to me when i explained my needs, and then made excellent recommendations for development of the new high end system.

It went very well. Marvin paid a lot of attention to detail, e.g. setting up my left-handed mouse. He quickly knew how to solve a problem with setting up the iCloud link to Outlook - something I never would have figured out on my own. the price was quite reasonable, especially considering how much time and effort Marvin put in. He also gave me useful advice about online backup sites, security programs, and password managers. I like the monitor and the fact that he brought it to me - meaning I spent almost zero time and energy on researching and buying it.

Marvin is so very knowledgeable and helpful! He built me a new system and transferred almost all my data from my corrupted HD to my new system! He took the greatest care to make sure I understood the new system and was satisfied. I am so pleased with my new system! I will definitely be using his services for all our computer needs! Excellent. We purchased a new computer, monitor and printer based on their recommendation. They configured the new system and installed it and got us up and running with minimal downtime. Unfortunately, the hard drive was toast and I lost all of the data stored on it. However, Marvin educated me about how to better back up my data in the future. He also cleaned both of our laptops and installed a larger drive in mine. He patiently answered all of my questions. As a result, I feel like I finally have a resource I can trust and rely on. We have used Marvin before, and he has always done great work, is very professional, and always on time. We had him build a very high end computer for our grandson to use in college. He went above and beyond, especially to get it to us by Christmas. Our grandson is very happy, and even a year later, the computer works very well. We would highly recommend Marvin to do your computer work, whether it be a simple repair, or a brand new computer. Prices are extremely competitive, and he builds the computer from scratch. No ads or malware on it.

We contacted Softserve PC's Inc. to repair our PC. The resolution of the monitor went awry. One day it was good the next day it was bad. We purchased a coupon offer buying $100 of service for $75. Marvin showed up for the appointment one time and ready. A very good first impression. We explained what had happened and what we had attempted to do to reset the resolution with no success. Marvin immediately recognized that our PC was 9 - 10 years and said it was likely the video card, but since the video card functions in tandem with the hard drive he couldn't be certain the fix would be long term. He offered the suggestion of building a new computer, something he does as part of his business, and after a few minuted discussing the options with Marvin we elected to have him build us a new PC. In the meantime we also bought a back up drive and had Marvin start that process for us. We arranged to have Marvin come back a few days later (Wednesday) to pick up our current PC and backup drive. Marvin said he would have our new PC to us that Friday with all of our files restored on it. We pushed that return date to the following Tuesday. And as scheduled Marvin returned with our new PC and immediately began setting it up for use. Within an hour we had our new PC, monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, Office Home & Student 2016 up and running. Our PC configuration includes an Intel Core i5-7500 3.4 GHz CPU housed in a new ATX Mid Tower case, ASUS Prime DDR4 SATAIII Motherboard, 8 GIG's of DDR4 Ram, 1 TB hard drive, and other techy stuff! We were extremely pleased with Marvin and his professionalism and the new PC. He genuinely enjoys his work as well as working with clients to make sure they are happy and satisfied with his work or products. My wife and I were very comfortable working with Marvin and I highly recommend calling him if you are in need of a computer repair, or even a new computer.

All work was done on site, in my home. He had allocated 90 minutes and was very conscientious about sticking to the time so he wasn't late to the next appt. He explained what he was doing all along the way even though I didn't ask him to. He offered suggestions for antivirus and data back up. Very professional, knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend him and use him again if/when needed.
