I am thrilled with these screens. They provide excellent protection from bugs, look great and are so easy to use. The screens have a full length magnetized strip from the top of the door to the bottom. The screens are easy to open/close and very simple to maintain. Thanks for a great job on the installation. I have had no problems with them.

Was prompt and efficient.  Built a screen door that opens/closes from the center for our bedroom French doors. It also has a track on the bottom which helps keep critters (spec. spiders!) out when closed.

Door feels sturdy and just blends in with its surroundings.  It will really help with ventilating the upstairs this summer.

Bob was great.
We had contacted him by email, and arranged a time to come out.
He was on time and professional.
We discussed his product, features and installation process. We liked what we saw, and Bob proceeded to build the door on-site to custom match the opening. Within a short time, he was completed with the installation. The installation was clean and looked great. When retracted the door housings blend into the existing frame. You barely notice they are there. The retractable doors are flexible, so that if kids (or adults or pets) run into them, they flex and then easily go back into their track, instead of bending or breaking. The trim color matched our existing door trim nicely. We also liked the full-length magnetic clasp to hold the two doors together when closed. They are easy to open with one hand, especially when the other hand is full with carrying stuff to/from the patio. We have used the doors all summer and they work great. We're very happy customers.

Bob showed up on time. He worked very quickly. Work was done very professionally and the installation looks great. I would definitely recommend Bob for any of your needs of this kind. I'm also going to use them again for another door in my house.

Bob was super. 'Nice, personable man and top-notch attention to detail. I thought that our installation would be a little awkward. But, Bob considered two or three options, selected the best alternative, included me in the process and he was off-n-running with it. Since we got-around to having this done so late in the season, I wanted to wait until we had a chance to really use the screen before making this review. Who would have known it would have turned-out so beautiful up on the mountain today. We have had the French doors wide open and used the screen since early this morning. My wife fumbled opening the screen a couple of times until she really paid attention to what I was showing her. :-) We are really, really pleased. For about the last three summers, we have used one of those hanging magnetic and velcro mesh screens - - not the cheapie-type you see on the infomercials but, a reasonably substantial one. It worked reasonably well but, we knew that ultimately we wanted something better and more permanent. We have that now with the screen we bought from Bob. I did some price-checking and, though this seemed like quite a bit of money for a screen, this is competitively priced and we will definitely get our money's-worth. Don

Excellent results. We liked the screen so much on our patio slider that we decided to have Bob install one on the front entry door. We chose the Genius product over other retractable screens because of excellent aesthetics and function. The screen disappears into the housing and the housing disappears into the door frame. We also appreciated Bob's attention to detail.

The retractable screen door is solid, stable, and smooth. It blends nicely with the front door; I like this product, and have used it throughout the summer. Bob is punctual and courteous. He knows the product, and his installation was first-rate. I would recommend this company to any homeowner.

An individual homeowner with the tools and home repair skills could get the install done by themselves. But Bob Lawrence has worked with the product and knows the various pro and cons of the unit. Our install was done correctly and the retractable glide screen works beautifully.

After having done some research about retractable screen doors on-line, I contacted Bob Lawrence, owner of NW Retractable Screens and Shades, via e-mail. I received a reply immediately answering all my questions and in addition he sent me more information about the product. I was impressed by the construction of the door and it's warranty. (I received quotes from 3 companies, all of which were within $20.00 of one another.I than phoned Bob, and we scheduled a time for the installation later that week. He gave me an hour window and arrived at the beginning of the window. After he checked out the door and I decided on a color, Bob began the installation. I found him to be professional, knowledgeable, respectful of my home and neat. When the job was complete, he explained how the door functioned and told me about the warranty. From start to finish, I would say it was about 45 minutes.
