Having consulted with a landscape designer (that was surprisingly inexpensive) we had a good set of plans to give to contractors for bidding purposes. Jeff Stephenson worked with us to plan and estimate cost for a major overhaul of a long, steeply sloping front yard. JSI's bid was not the lowest but neither was it the highest. We felt from the beginning that with JSI we were in good hands. Jeff and his excellent team worked with us throughout to help make decisions and deal with the inevitable unplanned issues. Jeff worked with the designer to recommended some changes (which we love) that helped pull design elements together and will weather well. The JSI crew showed up when they said they would, cleaned up the work area at the end of each day, and finished the job when they said they would. The property is being featured in a 2008 Portland garden tour and JSI plans to use photos of their work in a national catalog of Landscape professionals.
