The cleaner was late and told me that this was the time he was expected to be there, the invoice indicated a different time. He arrived and had not brought tools - I loaned him screw drivers. He also said he left his ladder at a previous job - I didn't have one. He missed one window, so he had to finish it - then hadn't replaced one storm and needed to finish that. After he left, I realized that several (at least 5) of the storm windows were not replaced properly and came out when I tried to use them. I left two messages with the company to discuss these concerns and have not heard back (more than two weeks). Any single of these issues would not be a problem, but the total of them leaves me frustrated and compelled to write this.

Very good and prompt service.  One workman here about 2 hours, washed all the windows on a two story home, including garage windows. Have used this service in the past and feel it was well worth the cost.

I contacted Isaac at Mark's Window's as listed on Angie's List. The company's name is now Excel Window Cleaning. They are located in Tualatin where I live. I should have called him first. I had contacted Joe's Window's and set an appointment for the same job. It seems that "company" got a better offer than mine because they ditched me never showing up. Joe's Window's get's a lot of positive reviews but won't from me once I am finished here complimenting Isaac's great work.
 
Isaac showed up for the estimate whe he said he would, actually a bit before the appointment time. Isaac is a nice guy, very conversational and professional. His bid was $100 for exterior cleaning of 19 windows of various sizes including a very large living room window and one sliding glass door. My house is two story and three of the windows on the second story were difficult to reach. I thought his price to be a bargain below what I would have paid given the number of windows and the difficulty reaching some of them. We set a date.
On April 17th the day the job was scheduled Isaac arrived on time. He completed the exterior cleaning in about 90 minutes. He took time to thoroughly scrub each window with a cleaning solution using a large sponge. Then they were finished using a squeegee. Windows were spotless. He even took time to give my wife a free how to clean windows lesson at her request.   
Well done! I am very happy to use the services of a company like this and whole heartedly recommend them to anyone.    

Isaac Rese arrived on time, moved rapidly from windows to windows, and did an excellent job. I have used this team for years and as always pleased with the resolution.

From scheduling the estimate through completion the entire process went smoothly. I was thrilled to see our deck so clean. He even cleaned our deck bench. It looks like new!We only wanted specific windows cleaned. The work was performed really well in spite of the confusion I initiated.We will use Mark's windows for the long term because they are very professional, price is good and the work is superb. They are great!

They cleaned the gutters on our high house and cleaned a large cathedral window above our front entry.  They also cleaned a chandelier that is too high for us to reach, even cleaning each light bulb individually to get the dust and grim off.  They are always prompt, call us yearly to remind us of the services, and do a fine job, including cleanup  .We have used Mark's Window Washing for several years and have  recommended them to friends who told us they, too, were very happy with the work.

Everyone was nice from the first call through to completion.

Please beware. This company caused serious damage to my home. They did a fair job on the windows but the worker was unresponsive to requests to improve his work when asked. He washed brand new sky lights causing $1600 worth of damage. He did not rinse the debris but instead dragged a soapy terry-clothe towel across acrylic. He caused permanent damage (scratches) to skylights meant to last 30 years from now. Two other companies accessed the damage making comments like "they should have known better" and " that just shouldn't have happened and the worker should NOT have approached acrylic skylights if he didn't have the expertise to clean them". The owner has not responded to complaints by phone, letter and fax. Clearly this is not a company that takes responsibility for their actions. To me, that's what having Angie's List is all about. This is not a company that is interested in customer satisfaction. You never know when a problem may occur when you hire someone but you hope that company will step up and fix any damage they may cause to your property. Those who use this list should be aware of such problems.

They did a good job. They were very pleasant and he has worked with some neighbors on my street.

They came at the scheduled time. Completed the work efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. The windows were sparkling. I almost walked through them!

It was a pretty big job. It took him close to 5 hours. He came out in March and was so busy he couldn't do it until just before the house went on the market. He was true to his word and did excellent job.

Get the bid in writing. I had many problems with the price changing on me. Even changed when I got the final cost. I think that the you don't get the Angie's discount the price is just higher. I would not use them again due to this. Very frustrating.

Showed up a little late, but everything looked really good when he finished. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was quoted $89-$100 for gutter cleaning on a 2600 square foot house. When he was finished, he actually charged me $175 for gutters & $10 for the front two windows which were only washed on the outside.

They were able to come in at short notice. Very responsive and punctual. Was quietly cleaning the windows while I working away on my computer.

On making appointment, Sarah very helpful. She called me the day before to confirm appointment. Jim was punctual, friendly and had obviously cleaned many windows. He was cheerful, and his work was efficient and good (despite having to use his 40' ladder and the contortionist one for the stairs). I hope to have them back.

He was on time, polite, unobtrusive, and efficient. We have used this company before and had a similar good experience. The windows look great.

This is the second time we have used this company. The representative we spoke with on the phone was very nice. The man who came to do our windows continued to interrupt me as I was trying to work at home with many questions. e.g. he could not work independently. In addition, he informed me that the debris on the windows (some paint) could not be removed without an additional "construction charge," which added up to $100.00. I would not complain about this, except that the windows were still not cleaned after the $100 charge; when I applied a bit of ''elbow grease'' to the debris, it disappeared. The man appeared to simply want to use his equipment and not exert himself much. When we called up and complained to the company, they sent another man out the next day to finish the job in a much better manner.
