My sister's cat was in extreme pain on Saturday, April 26th. We took him in to the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Tualatin. The doctors and staff were so wonderful and compassionate. They diagnosed an UTI and provided the care the cat needed. They gave us information on how to prevent a recurrence and some suggestions about litter boxes. Also because my sister has been out of work for a long time they tried to keep the costs down to a minimum and still give the cat the treatment he needed. We are so appreciative of all they did. They really did save the cat's life.

Went at 9:30 in the evening to this clinic. They were extremely thoughtful and sensitive to my and my husband's fears. Our cat had somehow injured his back leg. They did several xrays and determined that the injury was one that is like a human torn ACL. They provided us with needed medication to last until we could contact our primary vet for recommendations. Although we were still quite worried, we felt better knowing what was wrong and that it could likely be repaired.

I have used this clinic for several emergencies, They are A+ in every category and have often problem solved problems caused by other veterinarians. for example when he Cat Vet in tualatin put my elderly male cat on a high protein diet to lose weight and caused him to go into kidney failure. Most recently my female cat ran a fever and was lethargic following dental surgery and was given Convenia, an inappropriate antibiotic for dental work. I almost lost her but the Emergency vet rehydrated her and started her on the correct antibiotic and saved her life.

I would definitely go there again if I needed emergency care for my pets. I would highly recommend the vets there and the facility.

My dog had a large open wound on his side, discovered on a weekend evening. The phone advice was excellent and encouraging. When I arrived at the clinic with my dog, we were acknowledged immediately and seen within a few minutes. Treatment was explained and options given. The cost of treatment was presented, too. I left with specific instructions, medication and a well-treated, comfortable dog. My regular veterinarian received a report of the treatment the next week. I recieved a follow-up phone call from the clinic. This is the type of experience I have always had for my cats and dogs from this clinic.

My darling cat suddenly couldn't move her back legs and I absolutely panicked. We had used Tualatin Emergency Vet in the past for a minor dog incident so I called them again. They told me to hurry in...
Immediately upon arriving, they took my cat in the back and had me fill out very brief paperwork and ushered me to a room. The vet came in soon after to talk with me. He was so informative and very very nice. Unfortunately, my cat had a blood clot and had to be put to sleep...
They were so patient with me and explained my options and took the time to listen to my concerns and questions. I talked with the vet for probably 30 minutes before I had to say goodbye. They also let me pay before I spent the last few minutes with my cat so I wouldn't have to do it afterwards and allowed me to take my time. They were so understanding and I could tell that they really did care about the animals and the owners.
It is very hard to suddenly lose a pet and I am so thankful that I chose to go to Tualatin Emergency Vet during this time... I would highly recommend them for any type of emergency vet visit.

It appeared, in large part I believe, because of their care and compassion, that my puppy survived the Parvo virus. For whatever reason, he failed to rally though and took a downhill turn after 15 days. I had to euthanize him. If I ever have an emergency situation in which I need their services again, I would be at their door in a heartbeat. I was impressed with their kindness, compassion and honesty from the beginning to the end. It just didn't turn out the way any of us had hoped, but it wasn't for the lack of trying. These are GOOD people.

Took in one of my cats, after she had been mauled by my foster dogs. I called to let them know I was on the way, and there was no waiting when I arrived. They took her in back and got her started on pain meds. They were efficient and professional. The cat was started on IV fluids and sedation medicine in addition to the pain meds. I arrived around 8:30pm, and did not have to wait very long before the vet who examined her came out to consult with me. I was given a preliminary description of her injuries and a suggestion course of action to get her through the night. During the night they did x-rays and performed additional tests. I left her overnight and returned in the morning to pick her up and take her to my normal vet.
The staff at the emergency clinic called ahead to my regular vet's office and also faxed over complete records of what they had done for my cat, including x-rays and test results. When I arrived with her at my regular vet's office, they were prepared for her and had reviewed the information. It was a traumatic time for me, and the staff and doctors (I saw a different vet in the morning when I picked her up) were very caring and supportive.

My elderly dog suddenly became unable to walk, though he was still conscious. I rushed him to my regular veterinarian, and they sent me right down to Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin, which is relatively nearby, though further from my home. And I am very glad they did. This is no multi-million dollar site requiring of fundraising and huge ad campaigns. This is a modest clinic in a strip mall. But don't let the humble location fool you. This is a place of competent and caring veterinary medicine (my father is a small animal veterinarian, and I grew up around veterinary medicine), and I was amazed at how little it ended up costing. The second morning, when I called to check in, the veterinarian said, "Guess who walked out of his kennel this morning?" There were some theories about what it could have been, though he was never affected in that way again. I now give out their brochures and the magnets with their phone number on them. I would definitely make the drive if an additional 20 minutes might not make the difference in the health of my pet in a similar situation. These folks are wonderful.

My son's lab, who at 5 1/2 years old was in the final stages of heart failure, was having trouble breathing. We felt it best to take the dog to the vet to be euthanized. Unfortunately, while they were prepping him for the iv catheter, he passed away. The staff there could not have been more compassionate. The vet came to talk to us about what happened, and the receptionist subsequently contacted the crematorium to collect the dog's body and return his ashes in a very nice wooden box a few days later. They helped make a very traumatic event into as tolerable a situation as possible. We paid the clinic for the cremation, and I don't believe any of the fee was for the clinic at all.

My cat fell from a second floor balcony railing onto a wooden floor. Luckily he pulled tapestry with him which broke some of the fall . Unfortunately, he did a "face plant" into the wooden floor. There was blood coming from his jaw and nose. I found a business card for the Emergency Vet Clinic of Tualatin and called ahead. Thirty minutes later, I entered the facility with my cat. They quickly moved us into an exam room. Everyone was calming and caring. It helped the cat, but it also helped me to calm down. Then Keith Sierbinski DVM came into the room and checked the cats jaw, nose and pallet. He then carefully caressed the cat to check for broken bones. Everything looked good. The cat was amazingly cooperative and quiet. Then I OK'd an X-ray just to make sure. While in the waiting room everyone there talked about how nice the Veternary was. Then the cat was brought out to me . Everything was good. They told me there maybe some additional bleading from the nose and he may sneeze over the next few days. But he was good to go. Then they faxed the exam information with x-ray to Cross Road Vet, my non emergency Vet. I am very relieved. The cost for everything was $150. Perfect. I just cant say enough how quiet, calming and unassuming everyone is there. They love animals and the animals seem to know it.

They were accommodating to me in charging me the minimum for what they did. They gave the cat an exam, euthanition, and cremation. They were very punctual at getting to me. They contacted my regular vet clinic to send them a report, so they knew what had happened even though I had never taken the cat there. This is the third time I have used them. They are open in the evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We were seen quickly late at night. X-rays were taken, but a correct diagnosis could not be given. It was suggested we take our cat home and see our regular vet in the morning. They gave us the x-rays to bring with us.

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE CLINIC. THEY GOT ME RIGHT IN, WERE VERY KIND AND PROFESSIONAL. I WAS VERY SURPRISED AT HOW LOW THE PRICE WAS FOR AN EMERGENCY CLINIC. BE AWARE THAT IF YOU USE THEIR SERVICES ON A WEEKNIGHT, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO YOUR MAIN VET SINCE THEY ARE NOT OPEN DURING THE DAY. OR ARE OPEN FRIDAY NIGHT UNTIL MONDAY MORNING AND WEEKNIGHTS.

THE FACILITY WAS A LITTLE DIRTY BUT THE VETERINARY THAT TOOK CARE OF MY DOG WAS VERY GOOD. SHE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SHE NEEDED TO DO AND ONCE SHE GOT PERMISSION... SHE WAS ON IT. THE PLACE SEEMED A LITTLE TOO RELAXED... NOT 100% PROFESSIONAL.
