BEST OVERHEAD DOOR LLC

I ordered my new Garage Door Last November 30th and was told it would be a 3 to 5 week lead time. They didn't deliver it until February 15th, 11 weeks later. They scheduled and rescheduled 3 times the week of installation. The paperwork from Clopay on the new door said it had been ordered December 22nd one month after I put 50% down. To make matters worse the install ( supposedly their Lead installer improperly installed the Door seal. I had to call them back and instead of replacing it he adjusted the door so it was overdriving down to seal. Now 3 months later my garage door opener failed. These folks are obviously incompetent.

Our garage door spring broke overnight trapping our cars in our garage. We found out the next morning when we attempted to leave for work. I gave them a call and Georgia was very helpful. Luckily they were able to come out the same day. They were a little expensive but LeRoy was very professional and friendly and took the time to be thorough and explain our options. He called to let me know his eta, arrived on time and was done within 2 hours (even with complications)! I would highly recommend them!

Excellent. They had the new doors ready ahead of schedule and they showed up for installation as planned. The technician was very professional and pleasant. Office staff and sales were also excellent.

The installer was on time, and did a good, clean job. Also added a slide lock to my garage door since it didn't have one.

They get A's on everything. The installation was really good. I backed into the door, where the door was shut once, they didn't even yell at me. I've had different people from the company come out and they've all been really, really good. They are very prompt too.

He was here in 15 min and fixed it in 45 min. I was very pleased with the response and outcome.

I did have an experience with them. It's interesting, because I was looking at the rubber along the bottom. He said oh we don't do that, and then he charged me for his call, for coming out. I didn't like that. He said we don't replace those; we don't do that rubber molding. The only thing they did was charge me for the call, so I don't know what they would have charged me if they had did any work. On professionalism, I guess it was okay, considering that they charged me for not doing anything bothered me.

I am not happy with them. The garage door works fine I've got the remote opener and closer button built into the rear view mirrors of both of my cars. I cannot get it to work with this system. In fact, I am taking my car into the controller one of these days, talk to them and explain how come I can't get the car thing to work. They gave me a couple of remotes that I clip on the sun visor and that is what I am using for the control. I don't think I got charged too much. There were a couple of other garage door companies that I think had lower prices. One of them I have not heard good things about their garage door openers. It (the garage door) is a little big noisier than the old one but it works fine. They were out right away.

My wife met with Scott for the initial estimate. "Best" was the 1st of 3 contractors we got an estimate from. Right off the bat she was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. before we even got other estimates she knew that Best was the contractor we were going to use. Needless to say, her intuition was right, I am very impressed with the quality of work and speed in which they do things. We love our new garage door. Thank you Best...

BOHD was very responsive and worked with me to get me the best possible price for replacing two garage doors. On the day of the install, he showed up very early and got right to work. He cleaned up everything afterward. The doors look fantastic!

I was upgrading my garage door opener to one with a battery backup. They arrived punctually and got right to work. They finished quickly. They were always polite. Two issues with the work. First the battery cover on the keypad was missing. I called the office and they say someone will come by and put one on in the next couple of days annoying but fixable. Also the old garage door opener still worked and I was planning to sell it on Craig's list. When I asked for it, they said that they had cut off the power cord so it is no good anymore. When I asked the office about this, they say they do this so the dangling cord does not scratch the vehicle. I should have told them this before they started the work. I think this is poor form. They completely destroyed a good opener which the workers knew. I am no out a few bucks that I was hoping to offset the costs and its wasteful. I will not use this company again.

Provider was great! Finished quickly and even gave us a garage door tune up!

I expected to see their truck. Instead, the two technicians carried their tool bag and ladder three houses along my snowy street to my garage. [Most outfits would surely cancel.] They were really dedicated to getting door fixed. Big smiles. Problem was with aging rollers, which were binding and causing opener to reverse. They replaced the rollers, then adjusted and lubed the door and rails. Good for another year...or four. Real dedication to the job and huge laughs and a "Merry Christmas" as they walked back to their truck..in the snow.

AMAZING!  Backing out of my garage I didn't notice that the door had not opened completely so, of course, I hit it.  I got out to see that I had knocked the wheels off the track and moved it quite a bit over the side of the entry way.  I immediatly accessed the situation and new I needed a professional to fix it.  I checked Angie's List to see if I could get it fixed that day as my garage door was half way up.  It had snowed and was quite cold and my furnace was in the garage.  I found Best Overhead Doors and saw they made same day repairs.  I called the office and made arrangements to have it fixed. Jessica said that Mike would be able to come to my home and that he would call before he got there.  Happy just to get the repair done that day about 5 minutes later Mike called and said that he was about 3 minutes from where I lived.  He arrived and I was pretty happy to see him.  From the time I damaged my door until Mike was there assessing the damage was only about 30 minutes.  I was totally impressed.  He went right to work and was done in about 30 minutes.  He also tightened all of the screws and greased it.  Total time from damage to repair was about an hour.  I will use this company again and highly recommend them. I was a very happy person!!!

I had a catatstrophic failure of a wooden garage door with the lower section of the door falling and getting stuck the the garage opening,.  I called Best Overhead door and they sent someone in couple of hours who was able to take the door down and re-install it.  This is the baest service I had in a very long time.  Very professional and prompt.  I am ver happy with them.

Ed called when I'd been told to expect it and arrived at the house on time as well. He was courteous, professional, and it was clear he knew exactly how to approach the multiple problems that had occurred with the door following its being knocked ajar. He was able to use all existing parts to put the door back together. A little less then an hour later I heard the great sound of my garage door opener running the door up and down. Did a fantastic job, I would definitely use again and recommend to friends.
