Excellent. I did a peanut test and determined that no rodents were in our crawlspace. ( A peanut test, as I understand it, is leaving peanut butter in a container for 3 plus days, and if it is untouched then there are no rodents.)

Wes, the owner and manager, arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment. He inspected our house for 3 hours. I was with him for the inspection. He inspected the attic, the roof, and the eave of the roof, and he was able to identify that no squirrels were getting into the attic, which was our initial concern. Then he asked me if he was interested in doing an inspection of the foundation. I said yes, and he inspected the entire foundation. He found 2 entry points where rats were going into our crawlspace. He found 1 rat next underneath the backyard concrete slab. (Later he found a second rat's next in the crawlspace.) He identified 6 foundation vents that needed to be fixed and he showed me the issue with each on. He found 3 other places where rats or mice could get into our crawlspace and he explained to me how they could be fixed. We went into the crawlspace together and he explained how he could fix one of the entry points more effectively by doing the bulk of the work in the crawlspace. He explained to me in person how he would fix each item that he found. He is going to make a bid to fix all of the issues. I expect to accept the bid.

They were fine I just wish I never had to call in the first place. There was a squirrel in my attic. They were prompt, they were always courteous, really explained in great detail what they were planning on doing. I was never in the dark about anything. As far as that type of company goes, they were great. It was definitely more expensive than I thought it would be.

It took them two days to come to the house - longer than I had hoped. Their pricing policy basically has you over a barrel. They charge for the first visit, and they took their time doing that. They charged for setting traps, which were ineffective and placed pretty poorly. They required that we check the traps to let them know if anything was caught. Charged us for coming to close the traps for the weekend - because they won't empty a trap on the weekend. Charged us for an extended trapping duration because they were ineffective - and then finally charged us to remove a dead animal. You really have no choice once you sign their contract for services. They can charge you whatever they want. Their bid to fix the roof access points was 2x any qualified roofer. Pretty bad experience over all and I'm pretty sure there are more squirrels around the house.

We had no idea what to do about a creature attempting to burrow under our house in the middle of the night, for several nights in a row. I called Beaverton Pest Control and they recommended AllPro Wildlife Removal. I called Wes, the owner of this business. He came to the house and set/baited two traps. I had assumed it was a raccoon, as it was during the snowstorm, and there were visible raccoon prints. I was very concerned that our cat might become trapped, but Wes explained that the cat would probably not go near the trap, and that the bait, which was cat food apparently, was enclosed in a container. The first night, a huge raccoon entered the trap and was caught, and just sat there until Wes came and took him/her away. He baited the traps again, left them for several days, and we had no more animals enter either of the traps. After the traps were taken away, we had Adrian's Fence and Deck Company come and install a strong trellis fence along the base of the sunporch, so that we shouldn't have any more animal invasions. The trapping does not cause injury to the animal, except, I guess, to its pride. Wes responded immediately to my initial and follow-up phone calls and concerns, and I'm very happy that his company was recommended by Beaverton Pest Control.
