Removed 1 fir tree over 100 feet tall overhanging the house roof and 1 foot away from our fence. Other tree services did not want to do it. Tim took the tree down effortlessly, cut the wood in 16 inch rounds and ground the trunks.

Overall, Tim and crew were fantastic. There was a scheduling conflict that prevented work from being done on the original date, but we were able to schedule for the next week. They were friendly and efficient. From the bidding process through tree performing the work contracted, Tim demonstrated his understanding of the trees's health, my needs, and city regulations. He provided practical recommendations throughout. His crew accommodated last minute special requests and were patient with my elderly parents. Lastly, when performing services on the trees near the sidewalk, Tim not only removed the dead branches, he also trimmed the branches near the power line.

Tim is a Troutdale local so he understood my fears of having overgrown trees in an area where there are often wind storms. He also understood I did not want to remove all my trees or top any of them . He thinned out some 25+ foot tall sweetgums and pine trees. You can see in the photos how he brought the pine tres up so their lowest braches wouldn't hit me in the face when I mow the lawn:) He thinned out some cedars near our pond and shaped up our umbrella cherry tree. He removed 2 honokes and 1 cedar that had overgrown so much they were rubbing on our house and roof! He was fast, all work was down in half a day and scheduling only took about 2 weeks. He was by far my lowest bid out of 4 total bids, ranging from $1100-2800. Thanks Tim for fast and honest work!

Tim is a very hard worker, the tree was cut up in firewood size and stacked for me to split. I also had 9 old stumps averaging 10-13 inches wide from Maples that were removed 2 years ago and Tim ground them down with ease.
He is very fast and finished this project in about 4 1/2 hours. His clean up was excellent and he also gave me the wood chips to use as mulch. I highly recommend Tim, it is rare to find someone that worked as hard as he does these days.

Tim promptly returned my voice mail and was able to accommodate on the requested date. Tim and crew showed up for the preliminary estimate and project start date at the scheduled times and literally worked the entire day until the job was done. An added bonus was that they arranged for someone to pick up the wood rounds which other tree companies quoted $500 for removal.
Tim's Tree service was outstanding from start to finish and I would recommend their service to anyone.

They were very accommodating and friendly. The quality of work was excellent. They were about 40% less than other quotes I received. The helper was very nice and assisted lifting the bin of debris on their truck. Even though it wasn't part of what we agreed to, they were helpful in assisting. When they removed the trees, they notified some people in their network that were interested in the firewood. They had those people come over and pick up the firewood which was very helpful, as I was unsure of what I was going to do with all of that firewood. I would recommend them highly.

The pruning of the dogwood and removal of the sequoia went very well. I could not be more pleased. Mr. Oliver arrived on time, worked hard through the day and into darkness on the first day. Wood was removed and grinding of stump occurred the next day. The entire area was cleaned up and all in all, an excellent job; I would be more than happy to recommend his services and to hire again.

Called for an estimate and he arrived promptly. Gave us a quote and even a discount when I asked about Angie's list customers. On appointed day I received a call saying that his assistant had not arrived on time that AM and that he needed to reschedule for the next day. He apologized and arrived promptly the next day. Everything was going along very well, until the very end of the day. As he dug out the stump from the removed tree he hit and broke one of our sprinkler heads. So now the trees are looking great, but as we are very unhandy we now have a non functioning sprinkler system. Once it stops raining I will have to see how to get it fixed.

"Concerning the sprinkler system, I asked the home owners to do a system check on their sprinkler system to make sure no sprinkler lines had been accidentally bumped or broke by the grinder so that if there was a problem, I would fix it , that same day. The homeowner's said they were not aware of how to turn it on and at that point I told them when they figured it out , to call me if there were any problems and no matter what I'd come back out to fix it. Until today, this is the first time I've heard of a problem. My groundsman help (assistant) was let go because of the problem he caused that day in particular. My groundsman was not just late, infact,, he was a no show, this type of behavior is unacceptable to the standard of business I operate. I do appreciate that Member would infact hire me again, despite the problems she listed."
