RICH'S CLOCK REPAIR

I'm very much impressed with the work Rich did for me! From making the house call to diagnosing, and answering all my questions, and imparting his experience and wisdom. I was so impressed I gave him another clock I had that needed attention. No doubt I would continue to recommend him!

He was professional and did a great job.

Rich was recovering from shoulder surgery, so he tried to talk me through some diagnostic steps over the phone, to no avail. He drove across town with his arm in a sling to make a house call, fixed my clock, then patiently explained what had caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. Nearly two years later, my daughter forgot to wind the clock while I was out of town. This time, I couldn't get the clock to keep ticking. I called Rich. Over the phone, he listened to the pendulum swing, ascertained the problem, and instructed me how to fix it--at no charge. Rich is a gem of a gentleman, and his service is reasonably-priced. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I can't give Rich high enough rating. I took my clock to a different clock repair shop before I found Rich and was quoted between $200 To $400 depending on what needed done. I began checking ratings and reviews and Rich really stood out so I phoned him. He came to me too pick up the clock stating it was in very good condition for its age and looked like everything was intact. He quoted me 95.00. Took it home for about 7 days then called to tell me it was done. He returned it to me at my home which is not close to Troutdale. And for $95. I now have a working mantle clock that will be handed down another generation. I very highly recommend Rich for all clocks & watches, he is also very professional.

It required way less work than I thought. He was VERY professional, quick. He picked up at my office and delivered it when it was done. I couldn't be happier. Very nice guy! And since my clock fell and isn't working, he will be hired again soon.

He came to my home--despite having had recent surgery on his shoulder--and quickly gained access to the clock mechanisms, then expertly diagnosed and corrected the problem. He was courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He reminded me of a country doctor on a house call. He charged a very reasonable price, especially considering he had traveled from Troutdale to Southwest Portland. I wish I had a Rich Fandrey for all my home projects and repairs!

excellent work, good human

I have had a cuckoo clock for quite a few years and I have always had Rich work on it and keep it clean and working for me. He has always done a fantastic job at little cost. My only concern is when he retires, I'll have to find someone else to work on it. Till then, he will always be my "go to" guy for any kind of clock repair.

Everything went well. He could have replaced some parts but none was needed. He was prompt both with the initial visit and his return to complete the project. We thought he delt with us honestly
