We were putting in a new ADU apartment.  Our designer recommended several contractors and Max was the low bid.  Normally we might not go with the lowest bid but our designer Mairi at KiddPakosha highly recommended him because of his experience with basement remodels.

We have a 100+ year old home and it came with the usual unforeseen obstacles.  The major problem we encountered was a collapsed foundation wall (which OUR engineer assured us would  NOT happen, so not Max's fault).  But Max did his best to correct the problem, working with HIS engineer and the city to get us back on track.  He even covered half the cost of the new foundation to try to keep us within sight of our budget.

One of the things that most impressed me was that every subcontractor that I spoke to had only glowing reviews of working with Max.

All and all we are EXTREMELY happy with the results and love our new apartment!

Amazing.  I have had many bad experiences with contractors, but not this time.  Max worked with artisan precision on my old house.  No one will rip this bathroom out for 50 years.  Definitely someone you would welcome/want working in your house.

The dilemma had to do with a worn out sink in an unusual shape that needed to be replaced.  Max from Greener Concepts was recommended to me by another contractor who knew of his capabilities. Max checked out my sink situation and gave me several scenarios of what could be done.  I appreciated his suggestions and took several months on my own deciding which route to go.  Once I had determined what I wanted to be done, I contacted Max and he worked me into his schedule the following week.
In one day, he was able to remove the old sink (this included sawing into granite tiles and a cast iron sink, and disconnecting all the plumbing--a steamin' hot, a water filtration system, a garbage disposal, and the sink), install a new sink, remove tile that could not fit into the new scheme, add and cut new tile to fit (I had some leftover from the original installation), and add additional tiles to create a backsplash that wasoriginally wood paneling.  He matched my custom colored grout on my counter tops and on my backsplash.  It turned out beautifully.  My husband couldn't tell which 12"x12" granite tile had been replaced and he agrees that the backsplash looks as though it was part of the original design. 
Max reconnected the plumbing and hauled off the old sink and cartons to be recycled.
I couldn't be happier with the results!
