Services rendered were terrible, communication was terrible, pricing was terrible. Overall I will never use this business again and will caution anyone I know from using them as well. I was told during my scheduling phone call I would receive a call from Mara the ow error to discuss my specific septic system and concerns I had regarding it. I never received that phone call. Come the day of my scheduled service I receive a voicemail at 9am asking if the crew can come early, I did not respond because I am unavailable till 1pm for our scheduled service and I want to be present while having strangers on my property. The crew shows up 30 minutes after the 9am phone call and completes the work with no one around and zero ability on my part to guarantee the work is completed correctly. When I called to discuss why this was done and why they did not follow our exact scheduling agreement or why I never received a phone call from the owner regarding the work to be completed she was EXTREMELY rude, raising her voice and essentially telling me that I am an idiot who does not understand the service industry or her business. As a customer the service industry is about pleasing me the customer and Goodman Sanitation failed miserably to do so. Mara and her staff have been rude, disrespectful and argumentative and cannot provide me proof of the services rendered and are instead charging me based on the word of their technicians which I do not know and do not believe. Goodman sanitation is a complete joke and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for any septic or plumbing related needs.

Cost through the roof (47k) and piping separated within a year. Sewage flooded yard and had to pay even MORE money. Nothing but nightmares since

Shawn was very nice and did a great job. He initially pumped and cleaned are tank. He then indicated he would need to return on a future date to install the pump and floats. When the date arrived, Shawn was a no-show. I called Goodman Sanitation and was told they had a pump replacement scheduled for that morning, but that they weren't sure who it was for. Additionally, she mentioned that they had experience a recent turnover in staff and that they'd suffered subsequent scheduling and other issues. Nevertheless, a new date was scheduled and Shawn arrived and replaced the pump and floats. He had to pump the tank again given it had overfilled since the initial visit. Areas of concern: (1) I was disappointed that I had to pay another $405 to have the tank pumped, when this likely could have been prevented if taken care of at the previously scheduled follow-up appointment (2) Shawn said I would need to get a replacement cord for the septic alarm system. Upon opening the small box in the garage, it was clear the power came from the outside source (this was confirmed online). I mentioned this twice to their office, with no response as yet. If the pump fails again, now I have no way of knowing and I'll be back where I started. That's a $2,309 lesson I don't want repeated. Though I indicated in this review that I would not hire them again, I in fact would if they were to address the septic alarm issue.

Our experience with Goodman Sanitation was excellent from the very first call I made to get prices and info until the worker left the property.  The lady answering all my questions was so funny, informative and helpful.  Their prices were much better than others I had called and the service was outstanding from start to finish.  We were able to set up an appointment right away.   Shawn explained the process of cleaning out the tank, what condition it was in, and how to keep our system running smoothly in the future. In addition, we have 5 BIG dogs who generally would have barked like crazy at anyone on the property, but even they could tell what a great person our technician Shawn was.  There were no hidden or additional fees (other quotes led me to believe there could be add'l fees).  We had not had our tank pumped for several years, yet there was no judgment made regarding this which I really appreciated as other quotes I had gotten really made me feel like a slacker for not getting it done sooner.  We will be more proactive in the future now that we know we have a company we can really trust!!  I cannot imagine a better company out there!  Oh yah, the area was left spick and span clean as well when he left.

They were knowledgeable and could explain what was happening at every step. The work seems to be fine. They were good and on time. He was intelligent .

Job went ok. Called set up an appointment, within a week they came on time and pumped out the tank.

Called company based on listing on Angie's list and reviewing their website. Teresa was informative with things to be done ...like know where your septic tank is (we did).....know where the access port is (it was being uncovered) and provided pricing information. Appointment scheduled for Thursday (3 day wait which was fine). They called on Tuesday with a cancellation for Wed which we took. Truck arrived early by 30 minutes (which was great). As noted above, system accessed (with extra work) and pumped. No damage to yard/grass.

I would recommend them. They returned the call promptly, came when they said they would and they were nice to talk with. They were very friendly and solved the problem. They got back to me and let me know the progress.

They evaluated the condition of the septic system to see if it would pass county specifications to get a permit on the septic. The septic was found to be not functioning properly and need of replacement. Goodman provided us with estimates and cooperated in providing the county officials with information for fixing the septic and getting county permit approval. We ended up getting a quote from Goodman to do a sandfill system. We would highly recommend them to any one in need of septic repair, etc.

First time came with truck too large to reach are of septic tank. They had to return a few days later with a smaler, more manueverable truck. I had to dig out the cover for the septic tank prior to their arrival. it may have cost more if I was unabe to do that job.

Rotorooter had installed the toilet and so I called them first, they informed me that the septic tank needed emptied I tried to schedule that service with them and I was told it would be 2 days before they had an opening! So I called Goodman Sanitation... They were able to schedule me that very same day! On top of that when the technician inspected the situation he told me that I was misinformed and that the septic tank was fine and not needing to be emptied. The true problem was the piping from the house to the septic tank. The pipe broke and was causing moderate blockage but still allowing some flow into the tank. The technician ended up taking time out of his weekend and brought all the necessary tools, dug up the piping, replaced it with new piping and refilled the hole (On a Sunday!). Suffice to say I will always be calling this company for any repairs or maintenance that they cover. Thank you for the amazing service and speedy recovery to a useful bathroom!

I called Goodman after seeing them on AngiesList. I had used a company from Angies' previously (Earthworks Oregon) but they were hard to reach and impossible to schedule a time for them to come out. After waiting 6 weeks I gave up and contacted Goodman. Their scheduling was 2 weeks from when I called. They did ask me if I had an emergency and suggested 2 weeks out when I said no. On the day of the appointment (they had given me a time of between 8am-12noon) their truck showed up at 9am. The person (I forget his name) setup everything needed to pump the tanks first. He did not even need me to show him around (I was on a phone call between 9 and 10am). I came out at 10am and it seemed to be going well. He seemed on top of everything. After the pumping he inspected the sand filter system. No surprises - everything was in order. He addressed a problem we were having where the "tank full" alarm was coming on occassionally (the sensor needed adjustment - no added charge). While inspecting the pump system one of the plastic fittings broke. He told me about it and said that he would have to return with a replacement. He came back at 430pm and fitted the new part. Overall, I am very pleased to have a septic tank maintenance company with a professional attitude to the job. I would definitely recommend these guys. This is day-versus-night experience when compared to the last company I used. The only word of caution is that I have only used them once. Hopefully I will not have any recurring problems due to their maintenance.

The pumper truck arrived at the time expected. I showed him where the tank was and he got to work. He was done in a surprisingly short time, provided a quick assessment of the condition of our steel tank, took my credit card information, and was gone. No mess. No fuss. Very professional and pleasant to deal with. We'll be calling Goodman Sanitation when the service is needed again. I didn't call around for prices and I didn't know how much to expect this service would cost. Considering the nature of the task and that they undoubtedly have costs associated emptying their tanker truck (and buying fuel for it), the price is probably industry standard or better.

Mr. Goodman and his crew were very professional, did the job promptly and cleaned everything up after they were done. I also needed to have a drain line cleaned out, and they recommended Terry's Drain Service of Boring, who also did an excellent job.

We have had bad experiences in the past when a septic tank was not serviced until it was beyond capacity and smelly fluid backed up into our shower (yuk). We knew it was time to get this service done. Goodman Sanitation brought their big tank truck to our site and used a large hose to extract the accumulated sludge out of our septic tank. It didn't smell too good for a short while, but Russ worked efficiently to complete the task. He explained the process and asked if we had any questions. He also gave us a flyer on correct septic tank maintenance.
