Cascadia Plumbing LLC
About us
Cascadia Plumbing is a local family owned and operated business. Rick Tarsia has been in the plumbing industry since 1997. As an experienced licensed journeyman plumber, he started his own company in 2007. We cover all aspects of plumbing both commercial and residential. We focus on each project; paying attention to detail; asking responsible questions and being proactive in each phase. We communicate effectively with contractors, fellow tradespersons, homeowners, and plumbing fixture suppliers and have established strong relationships with local inspectors. Cascadia always delivers a high standard of workmanship. Cascadia will work with contractors and homeowners to complete their design; however, we are willing to offer alternative solutions when required. It is our intention to always create a professional and personal experience, where each customer is satisfied. We are only interested in creating long term relationships, in the hope that customers can call a plumbing company based on a good previous experience. We would like to note that we started this company at the beginning of a downturn in the economy which has impacted everyone in different ways. This has allowed us to work with people–understanding their needs and affording the opportunity to show them who we are. We offer high quality work, excellent communication and competitive pricing.

All in all, it was not an unpleasant experience. Rick cleaned up after himself every night and I was "allowed" to have running water for the night. So, I was happy about that. He arrived to the residence in a timely fashion and worked straight through (without any lunch) until his quitting time around 4:30 p.m..
I enjoyed his company. As stated before, I felt that I could trust him and that has not changed throughout the course of the entire project. In fact, he gave me valuable contact information regarding maintenance of the house with other contractors which I truly appreciated.
This is my second encounter with Rick. A couple of years back, he had installed a new garbage disposal (after the old one clunked out) and new innards for a toilet.
works folks called to say that the water usage at one of my duplex was four
times normal again. This problem is a re-occurrence of what was reported
last year. No problem could be found then, so the matter was
dropped. I went out right away and found that water was flowing but not
into the unit. I checked Angie's List for a plumbing company in the
area. Cascadia Plumbing was just a mile or so from the duplex and had
numerous positive reviews. I called and talked with Rick Tarsia. We
met at the duplex Tuesday morning to discuss and he had the job done Friday,
awaiting approval by the inspector the following Tuesday. Inspection
approved and Rick completed close-up the next morning.
Rick was very professional and did a great job communicating with the
tenants. He had been able to find the outside shutoff valves were
attempts by me and other plumbing folks had failed to location. Turned
out that they were covered over by dirt and grass. I was very please how
quickly Rick was ready to do the job. He had all but the close-up done in
a day with only a couple of hours with the water off. Well done, Rick!
