Lowe's Home Improvement - Tigard

My mom has been having her home remodeled since early 2017. She was told by the interior design consultant and her contractors that everything would be done July 12th 2017. Yes, 17 not 18. A year ago. The FIRST set of contractors provided by lowes was a bunch of Russians who seemed not to have even been licensed, installed almost everything in her house wrong, wrong cabinet doors, wrong trim, used the trim for the bathroom in the kitchen. This was after waiting 4 months AFTER the finishing date for them to even start. Then a few months later, well past when it should have been done, after my mother called lowes for the millionth time either to no response or no viable explanation as to why it was taking so long, the Russians disappear. No, really. They left the country and took her money according to Lowes. NOW 4 more months later there's a group of contractors. All seems fine except one guy acts suspicious. Iphone 7 plus goes missing, okay can't prove it and move on. Then, a few days ago my mother walks up her stairs, sees that the box to her $900 roomba has been tampered with. They stole it from the box that had been there for months, SCOTCH TAPED it back together, and left only the box. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Over six months past due in getting done, contractor destroyed yard, did not color match to eaves, gutters or siding. We had to hire another painter. It was bad.

They were able to contact a maintenance man from the manufacture. He came out quickly, ordered multiple parts, installed them and got us up and running again.

Although they ordered the wrong doors, they would not admit it until I pressed them--hard--for an answer about what went wrong, Throughout the 2 1/2 month process, I called many times--at least 20 calls. I experienced being put on hold and having the call dropped; being connected to the wrong person (sometimes three or four times in a row); having people promise that someone would call me back and then not hearing from anyone--ever; talking to people who were reluctant to give me their last names, even though when someone failed to do what they'd promised, the next person wanted to know the first and last name of the person I talked to previously; having someone tell me to call a person the next day and then finding that they were off on the day that I'd been told me to call them; having people tell me that someone was "at lunch" and would call me back, and then finding out that the person wasn't in at all that day. After the order was cancelled because the doors that they had ordered wouldn't fit, I had to call them again, with similar results, to get my money back. I began this process and February and finally cancelled the order at the end of April. The disrespectful and inept treatment that I received was not a random, one-time experience, but a repeated pattern of disorganization, incompetence, and rudeness. I will never shop at any Lowe's store again for any reason.

Purchase price was reasonable. Delivery was on time. Installer was on time and professional

Brad sold us the top of the line vinyl windows, being the first of three separate measurers who assured us that these would be the best fitting windows. The second guy came a week later to make certain Brad's measurements were accurate. Indeed, they were.

When Larry and Oleg showed up to install the windows, they rechecked all measurements of the new and old windows to make certain everything would fit. Everything went well, every window went in smoothly and I've not seen a team of two work as efficiently

as these two guys. Just great.

They were out a couple of different times. They did a good job and there was nothing that I had to worry about, I guess. They came in, did it and left. I did not really shop around much.

Great - The salesguy, AJ, was very helpful and patient. Quickly returned calls with questions. Setup the order and kept us informed of its progress. The installer came out to do an estimate before hand and was very professional and thorough. The installer crew was quick, competent and responsive. We are very happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to go this path again.
The primary and quot;it would be nice ifand quot; - It would have been better if they could have done the complete job including cutting the granite and installing the new range hood ducting through the roof. It was extra work on my part to find alternative contractors and to schedule them in. But they told me the deal up front so there were no surprises and were flexible as I juggled the schedules.

We almost always find what we are looking for there, and they tend to have a better selection than Home Depot.

Holding vanity until I can pickup.

Purchased a $25.00 Big deal gift card for $10.00 for Lowe's Home Improvement. It was a great Big deal purchase. The only problem is when you need help sometimes it is hard to find someone.

The last installer spent two hours replacing the pump and identifying where the problem was with the hose. He got the job done, but I would not purchase this brand again.

They're the closest and easiest to get to. They just have more variety and cheaper prices.

The quality of the goods at Lowes are much better.

Lowes says they have guaranteed same day delivery on all in stock appliances. I just tried to buy an in stock clothes dryer at 9:30 am on a Saturday. First available delivery is on THURSDAY?!? I went down the street to a local appliance dealer (Standard TV and Appliance). The new dryer is at my house and installed at 11:10 am. Guess where I will no longer be shopping....

The experience was good. The kid that helped us was very knowledgable

Overall, Lowe's is a fine place to go. But the wood planks had a more defects than I'd like and had to sift through so many pieces.

It turned out well. Everything was fine. The price was steep. We just agreed to it because we didn't have much time. They do offer financing, so it was a trade-off.
