I hired Blake and Chanti to repair some broken cords on some blinds and shades that were non-functional in a home we purchased. Blake was very efficient, knowledgable, professional and well-priced. He offered good suggestions for some issues that could not be repaired onsite, and was very forthright. I didn't know that there were people out there who did these kinds of repairs. It probably saved us a lot of money by repairing instead of replacing our shades and blinds.

They came out a couple of years ago. The guy is as honest as the day is long. He points out and explains everything he's done and why. I trust him explicitly. He was exceptionally reasonably priced. He is somebody I would go to and have a major project and not even request a quote from somebody else. My trust level is his pricing and the quality of his work, they are so fine. He also replaced my roof and he did absolutely great work with that as well. I will use him again in the future.

It went really well.  Blake spent 5 hours onsite meticulously re-stringing my Hunter Douglas blinds.  Two of my windows are huge, so he installed extra brackets on top to hold them up.  He was friendly, professional, and prompt.  He explained to me the issues and their possible causes.  I really appreciated how much he enjoys his work.  And he is very skilled at what he does.  I have already recommended him to my condo complex and hope others have the chance to work with him.  Because he is very good at what he does, there is approximately a two week scheduling period which was well worth the wait!!

Blake is a perfectionist and made sure each shutter was installed perfectly before moving on to the next window.  Blake was clean and respected my requirement of "no outdoor shoes inside the house."  An intelligent and personable man, Blake didn't seem to mind having me watch the installations which I found fascinating. 

I did not include "approximate cost of service" because Blake's installation service was paid by Rocky at The Blind Guy and included in the cost of the blinds.

If I ever need handyman service, I will contact Blake as he has a vast background of experience.

Blake arrived early, kept me posted on his ETA via text messages, which was nice since I took time off from work to meet him.  Based on what we had discussed on the phone, he brought the materials & equipment he needed to replace the battery tubes in my upper window blinds:  five windows.  He was successful at getting them all to work and gave me instructions on how to work the remote with the blinds.  Took him a little over an hour to get it all done.  He was professional, easy to talk to, and very efficient.  He works closely with a Hunter Douglas window covering sales rep and does installs and repairs.

We had custom curtains made 7-8 years ago. After a 7 week remodel of our downstairs, we picked up our curtains from the dry cleaners. During the remodel the curtain rods and hardware were scattered and we could not find the hardware. We called Blake to see if he could get everything back up before Christmas. He arrived the week after thanksgiving with extra hardware and was able to get everything up and looking beautiful in a few hours. The family room has a very wide patio door and our curtains are 10-1/2 feet wide. He also hung the curtains with sheers in the living room and dining room. He did such a great job!
