It went excellent. They came and did the work and cleaned up the work area.

They did an excellent job of protecting fences, shrubs, and neighboring yard. I felt they were very professional and worked very hard. This was a difficult position for the tree removal because of fence corners and existing plants and shrubs in the same area. They did an excellent job of clean-up, and the provider checked in when they were finishing up to make sure we were happy with their work.

I originally bought this service as one of Angie list's Big Deals. So it was $147 for four man hours and actually wound up being 2 men for two hours. I have some very large trees with some large branches. Several of these branches had died and they needed to be removed. Other services had quoted at least $500 for this job. There were 7 or 8 braches on one tree and a couple more on the other one. At first I was kind of concerned that they would have time to get all of these, but they worked fast and efficiently and got it all done in less than two hours. I have a saw myself and so I just kept the branches for firewood so they did not have to cut them up and hawl them away. They were very friendly and easy to deal with and respectful towards me. The next day I noticed that one of the cables in the tree had become detached and was hanging down (probably due to a branch hitting it, as these were really large branches). So I called them up and the manager came out the next business day and climbed up and re- attached the cable. It was great that they did not try to argue about this or give me a hard time as some companies would do. These trees were so large that the climbing part was difficult and they did not use spurs or spikes at my request, so it took a little longer to navigate in the tree. So overall they did a really great job.

The service was excellent. We consulted with Evergreen a couple of weeks before the work began to agree upon the scope of work, how much it would cost, how long it would take, and when the work would be scheduled. We received a written estimate which was specific and detailed on what Evergreen would do. On the scheduled day of work, a four man crew arrived right on time and went right to work on trimming trees. Throughout the project, the crew was professional, courteous, focused on the task, and knew just what to do and how to do it. They came with a chipper trailer and chipped all branches on site ... and cleaned up completely. We asked them to cut the larger walnut tree branch into 10' long lengths and stack them for our use as firewood ... which they did cheerfully. The whole process took less than 2 1/2 hours and the yard was left completely clean .. as if no one had been there! We felt Evergreen did a great job and we received excellent value for our investment in them.

Crew was very professional. They took steps to protect shrubs immediately underneath work area and cleaned and raked all areas thoroughly before leaving.

Three persons, including the owner, arrived on time with a big truck and boom. Their experienced tree climber scaled up our tall sunburst locust tree, tied himself off, and worked with both a chainsaw and long pole cutter to remove offensive branches over our chimney. He worked quickly and additionally cut out smaller dead branches that were unsightly. Then he used the boom to cut unwanted branches out of a very tall Pin Oak by our driveway. Overall they were professional, efficient, friendly, communicative, and didn't mind our watching and pointing to added branches we wanted trimmed. During the job they swept up and chipped the removed branches and finished by blowing the entire area clean. We plan to use them again when and if their busy calendar slows down.

They worked very diligently, professional, precise and asked how each tree looked and if we wanted/needed shaping or trimming. We are/were very pleased with their work. They were friendly, accommodating and more than willing to do additional trimming if we wanted it. The clean-up was near perfect! Their attention to detail was better than we expected. We were very pleased with their tidiness. They knew exactly what need to be cleared and trimmed to bring out the beauty of the trees and bushes. We enjoyed them and their willingness to do an excellent job. Eddie (the owner) was prompt and thorough in making contact with us. We definitely will use them again.

We were very pleased. We were so elated that first of all they showed up and started working right on time. That rarely happens in Carlton. The owner had some great suggestions for my husband. They removed and few trees and beautifully manicured others. The clean up was amazing. There was no debris left behind. This was a great deal and we will use this company again !!!!!!!!!!!!! I extended the time on an Angie's promotional deal offered by Evergreen Tree Services during an initial meeting with the service manager. The crew arrived in a timely fashion, reviewed the projects, and did the jobs In the back yard, then moved to the front yard. The service manager swung by about half way through the job and approved a swap of taking out a some additional dead plants instead of planting replacements for the one's already removed. (I had decided I would do the plantings as I needed to condition the soil to accommodate the plants I had selected.) The crew ran everything through the chipper and cleaned up. It was easy to work with those involved, which helped me as I had completely changed what I planned as replacements between the time of the initial review and the service date after gathering more information online and from nurseries. I was highly pleased with their work and plan to have them back in the fall to trim my non-evergreen trees.

It went very well. Got their work done in a very efficient manner. They cleaned up the mess. Only negative is that the original appointment time was missed and had to reschedule.

Arrived on time, listened to what i needed and wasted no time getting on the project. Everything was done professionally and when finished all debree was removed the view was great.

I used an Angie Big Deal, they came writ out and gave me a free estimate! work was great and clean.

They did a good job and everything was good. They did a good clean up, they removed the trees on just like I told them to do. Their customer service is good. I don't have to supervise anything they did their job.

For the most part they did a good job on the actual service. Most of the time they did a pretty good job. The price was very fair.

We bought a house with a gigantic tree in the front yard. It had lots of pieces, big and small, that broke off and got tangled in the branches. The first big storm would have a potential to blow all that debris onto the roof and badly damage it. We also had a medium-size pine in the backyard that was obstructing much of the light going into the house. So we called their number (btw, they are located in Tigard) and Eddie came out to access the situation. He confirmed everything we expected and gave us a written quote. Armed with this quote we called two more places and got two more quotes. $250 and $350 more than the first one. At that point it was a no-brainer. Eddie's guys came over early in the morning and worked until 8pm and got all the work done in one day. I don't think we've ever seen people working so hard for so long:-), but the best part is that they left our yard completely clean! They even blew all nasties from the roof and out of the gutters. Now the tree up front is beautiful and safe, and the backyard looks great. We don't think that people who charge way more would be able to do a better job.

Their bid was less than half the other two bids we got from other tree services. I was a bit hesitant about such a low bid but they were highly recommended by friends of ours. They did such a superb job that I gave then a 20% tip and recommended them to the neighbors on either side of my house. They ended up taking out a tree in each of the neighbors yards and did an equally excellent job. I can't recommend Evergreen Tree Service more highly!

I am satisfied with the work performance. I would not hesitate to utilize the services again.

I got the estimate from Owner Eddie, After I called him to schedule the work, he didn't call back . I called him again and got an agreed upon time and date. He and his worker arrived half an hour early and went right to work. It took almost 5 total hours with a break for lunch at noon. The constant drone of the generator was annoying after two hours of it (Sorry, neighbors!) but the result was wonderful. I observed the worker taking time to go over each area to carefully remove the green/black muck. Now, all is clean. I plan to do this annually.
