Evergreen Tree Service

Three men arrived on time, started to work, performed their duties flawlessly, and cleaned up the premises. The service they performed exceeded my expectations. I owuld not hesitate to call them again or to recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The three man crew arrived on time, assessed what they needed to do, and went right to work. The tree that they needed to cut was a tree that I had planted some time ago, and realized much later that it was planted on the adjoining property. After new houses were built on that property, the tree started to fall over to my side of the fence, as ivy and insects had weakened it. So, I bought the Angies List Big Deal and the neighbor paid for the rest of the work. They cut the tree from my side, climbed over the fence and cut it close to the ground. The branches and ivy went into the chipper and the wood was cut and stacked nicely. Everything was well cleaned up afterwards.

I wish they less busy as I wanted the services done a bit earlier. But, other than that they came worked very fast and even went beyond the original contract. They cleaned everything up and everything was looking great at the end. Gave a B on price because they are not the cheapest service around, however everything else is definetely A quality

Very clean job. It was like they weren't there after they trimmed all the trees. They did a super good job and the two guys were very nice an polite.

They ended up adding on fees that we had not agreed upon.

They arrived on-time, they were friendly and helpful. When I asked them to make a small change to the way we originally planned to prune our large Maple tree, they said "no problem, will do".....

Eddie and his crew were terrific. They arrived at 8:00 am and worked hard alllll day, stopping only once for lunch. They removed a huge old pine tree and did stump grinding and trimmed another huge old pine tree. They removed all the debris and used a leaf blower to mitigate the bark dust leaving my yard look great. I will definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

After blowing off the first estimate appointment, I rescheduled my appointment for my Angie's big deal, 4 man hours of tree work. They showed up shortly before 5pm. Maybe my math is wrong, but 3 guys for 45 minutes does not equal 4 man hours (2.25 actually). I was there the whole time. I even asked that since they were done early, how about trimming another tree for me until my 4 hours are met? The helpers laughed it off, and made a bee-line for the truck. I had them give me a quote for another tree removal and got a quote for my neighbor as well, but now I won't use them for the additional work and I'll recommend against using them to my neighbor.

I am truly surprised by the bad reviews. Theses guys were excellent. I got three quotes. I thought each tree service would do a good job but Evergreen had the best price so I went with them. They came at the agreed time and got right to work. I couldn't believe how things looked when they were finished! The yard was cleaned up and the stump holes were flush with the lawn. Several neighbors stopped by and told me they were impressed with the job. Two asked for the name of the tree service.

Part of the work was covered with an Angie's deal. Eddie promptly returned my call and came out within a few days to check out the work I wanted done. We set a date for the work, and a crew was here a little before the time scheduled. The crew worked long and hard and the old apple tree may not have looked this good in 40 years! It really looks like a professional did the work (Last time I had it pruned about 5 years ago, by another firm, it looked like a couple boys had come out and just whacked off the top---which is exactly what happened then--and, for a comparable price!.) The holly---a big old tree about 2' in diameter--- is now a decorative stump, which is just what I wanted. The crew went above and beyond when it was time to clean up. They left the area in which they were working cleaned not only of the trimmings from the trees they were working on, but some other debris left over from my own efforts. Other tree trimmers have left behind a lot of scattered little limbs and stumps, so I really appreciated that it looked so clean, cleared and nice when they finished. They even swept my porch! Wow! The quality of Evergreen's work far surpassed that of others I've hired over the past 5 years. I appreciated prompt call backs and arrivals as promised. The work exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy and highly recommend their work. I will not hesitate to hire them again next time I need tree work done.

I was impressed because after I bought the deal they called and scheduled an appointment. He came out right on time and gave me an estimate and scheduled to do the work. They showed up on time asked how much did I want cut off the arborvitae, then proceeded to do the work. They cleaned everything up when they were done. Very professional.

I purchased two Angie's List coupons. Eddie called me the following day to schedule an estimate of all of the work I wanted done. This is the first time a coupon has called me. They were Great! They hand trimmed most of the trees and took extra care to make sure everything was perfectly shaped. They cleaned up all debris. I would defiantly hire again.

Eddie and his team were great! Some contractors come in and do the project you hired them for but leave a mess behind. They left our place better tidier it was! On-time, did exactly what they said and presented options for me to consider. I was very happy. It should be noted that my son, who is a contractor, says I'm one of the pickiest people he knows. I hold a high ideal in my mind and expect people to perform. Many times I am disappointed. Not with Eddie and Evergreen Tree Service!

Evergreen employees were punctual, polite, professional and worked their butts off to get all the things I had on the list done. They climbed four trees and removed limbs from all of them, took out one good sized maple and when they left you had to look hard for signs that anyone had been there.

Eddie arrived at the scheduled time to give me an estimate, wrote up a clear contract for approval, answered questions and set the service date. He arrived on time again with the crew of 2 to show them the work, and they got right to it. I had been concerned that they would not have time to get to all the tasks in the 2 hrs (2 hrs x 2 men = 4 hrs), but they were amazingly efficient! The promised work was completed, as well as a couple of extra tasks (trimming dead overhang from neighbor's tree, pulling down dead ivy vines) when it was evident they had plenty of time. They did not check with me regarding completion before beginning the chipping, but when I pointed out 2 areas that needed a bit more trimming, they politely and efficiently got it done, as it was in the scope of contract. When I thought they would be ready to leave, they got out leaf blower and rake, and cleaned up the entire area of most every trace that work had been done, and I was thrilled with that! They were also careful not to damage my other plants and property, asking me to move a couple of lawn ornaments. The entire experience was positive, and I was especially happy that none of the three smoked, left litter, or showed inappropriate language or behavior. They were all professional, skilled, pleasant and friendly, a wonderful crew to have working on my property!

Crew arrived 20 earlier than agreed upon time, and was setting up when I arrived. This was a tree trimming project at my daughter's house. The two man crew was very efficient, one on the ground, the other up in the tree. Limbs were trimmed, hauled to the chipper, and promptly disposed of. In less than two hours, the job was done, the yard cleaned up, you wouldn't know anyone had been working there. I would recommend this outfit to anyone who wants fast, efficient work done on their trees.

excellent job. Wood from trunks stacked neatly and all the branches and twigs removed from yard such that you couldn't even tell they had been there.

Estimate from Eddie was easy and accommodating for my needs - allowed me to use Big Deal promotion - Guys came out and did an amazing job. They took care an were precise in tree removing with limited space in backyard. They hauled away everything they removed and raked my yard of debris and made my yard look better than prior to them arriving. Great experience and would definitely recommend them and plan on using them again.

Evergreen Tree Services & Landscape Maintenance just finished the job about a half hour ago and the guys were awesome. They took an old growth tree that was hanging over two houses. They went up about 30 feet and trimmed it up and it looks awesome. It's a huge tree. In order to get a tree like that removed, it would have cost me. They showed up right on time. There isn't any negative that I don't care to bring up. I just feel they did an awesome job. It was a real good service. I will use them in the future and refer them to others, as well.

They were on time, prepared for the job and knew their business. They accomplished more in the time I had contracted for than was expected. Clean up (oh, so important to me) was done throughout the job and all debris was chipped to be recycled. They were a great trio and worked together well.

They arrived later than expected but that was the only negative issue. They paid close attention and double checked re which limbs were to be removed. They worked efficiently and cleaned up very well. I was very satisfied both with the work and with their professional demeanor.

We purchased the big deal for four man hours. The experience was great! Eddie came out and gave an estimate for the work that the big deal didn't cover and their pricing was more competitive than other estimates we received. The work they did was great. They took great care and precaution to remove the trees, one of which extended over our roof. They had a crew of four men that worked well together and left the area clear of major debris. My only complaint was that they arrived a few hours later than expected and didn't notify us that they were running late. Thanks!

Had a stand of 5 closely intertwined holly trees which had not been pruned in over five years and was completely out of control. Bought an Angie's List Big Deal for Evergreen Tree Service $149 for 4 hours of tree service. They responded in a reasonable time, and were prompt for the appointment to evaluate the work to be done. They arrived on-time for the work with a bucket truck to get to the top of the trees, and a crew of 3. They did an excellent job of pruning and shaping the trees, probably cutting back at least 20% of the overgrowth. They cleaned up the limbs and leaves, leaving the area spotless. There was an additional charge of $50 for the dump fee, which was reasonable, especially after I saw the huge amount of limbs on the ground after they were done pruning. Excellent job by the workers, who were polite, professional, and efficient. Would recommend to others, and will most likely use again if I need tree work done.
