Bull Mountain Roofing

This was an awful experience. I was guaranteed that nails would NOT go through the plywood. They all did. The job was not completed and I was continually put off when scheduling the following up. I had to finish the work myself. I found a year latter that they didn’t replace the siding correctly. As a result it cost me over $1,000 to fix the damage. Stay away from this company. The low price is not always the total cost.

Hector responded to our inquiry very quickly. We scheduled and appointment and he arrived right on time. His estimate was very good and we scheduled the job for two weeks later. Hector and his crew were prompt, efficient and did an excellent job on the roof as well as cleanup, Within two weeks (as promised) he returned to apply the treatment and once again, left our property spotless. He does excellent work at a fair price and is very honest about the scope and costs of the job. I highly recommend Bull Mountain Roofing.

Bull Mountain Roofing replaced our cedar shake roof with 50 year Presidential shingles during the summer of 2017. They also replaced the gutters and fixed some siding. We were very happy with their work and would highly recommend their services!!! We researched several roofing companies and selected Bull Mountain Roofing based on competitive pricing and responsiveness to our needs and questions. Hector was particularly friendly and helpful with setting up the schedule and coordinating the effort. The crew arrived on time, were polite, and very professional in their work. They cleaned up each day and provided an informed update on their progress. They always included us in any installation decisions. We enjoyed watching our house become a “Street of Dreams”.

Awesome. Other contractors were quoting a new roof for $25,000. Bull Mountain said it was unnecessary - replaced shingles and power washed. Outstanding result.

From the bidding process to completion of the work, Hector and his crew were professional and hard working. Our roof is large and very intricate and they performed their work beautifully! They did a terrific job in all phases: discussion of what was needed, options, costs, explanation of what would be done and how etc. Never have I seen people work this hard and the cleanup was great. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive and worth every cent. Also, they discovered dry rot in two places--------very thorough fixing it.

The price was right, and they were very helpful about getting the job scheduled quickly (just before the rains started in 2017 fall/winter). The roofer who did the work was highly skilled, very very careful, and did a beautiful job. Skilled craftsmanship is lovely to see, especially when it goes to your leaking roof! I would highly recommend these guys!

I contacted a few providers to repair my roof and these folks seemed to be the only ones honestly interested in my business. They found the issue and also noticed another problem location and fixed that too. They were thorough in their repair.

Quoting process and scope of work was difficult to align on, based on some discussions regarding roof ventilation. I eventually decided to separate any soffit venting from the scope of work, as it was clear that Bull Mountain didn't want to get involved with that. That said, once we had agreed scope, the team came in and had the whole roof replaced in 2 days, and they did an excellent job. I looked at 5-6 roofing companies and checked their work personally, and I would say that Bull Mountain definitely do an outstanding quality job.

Bull Mountain was excellent. Their price was right in line with the other lower bids. However, talking with Hector about the work to be done and how they do it (how their workmanship helps prevent potential nail hole leaks, extra wide flashing, etc.) gave me confidence I would get a great new roof. The other company that bid where I had the same confidence in that the job would be done right was over $5 more (bigger company with lots more overhead to pay for) Their crew arrived when scheduled and worked three hard days to get it done. The first night they worked a long day until after 8pm to beat the upcoming bad weather. My job was a large one as they needed to plywood the entire roof as the previous one has just old shakes with tar paper. They cleaned after each day and when the job was done it looked great. I installed Presidential shingles (black). Bull Mountain also guarantees their work much longer than anyone else who bid so that's something else that gave me confidence that they'd stand behind doing the job right. I'd highly recommend Bull Mountain Roofing.

Very happy with the service provided. I believe it to be a quality job and looks great. Took one day to complete and they were prompt and courteous. The only criticism is the customer service side of the business, they need to look onto having a full time employee managing the phones and replying to customers promptly. When handing over large amounts of cash, for a service, it doesn't make us feel confident when we cant get a reply phone call the same day, often it was multiple days before we got a reply. Anyway, I hope this is constructive criticism, because i thought they did a great job and i would use them again.

Job was completed without any problems. They did a great job on clean up as well. Excellent company to work with.

Very good! I have no doubt the new surface will work great in anything thrown at it. We have a non soffited eave, meaning staples/fasteners used will poke through and show through the underlayment. We were not aware this would occur prior to the job, as the prior 2 surfaces didn't result in anything poking through. While this is according to code (using 3/4 inch fasteners on 1/2 inch underlayment, we just weren't expecting it. When we brought it to the attention of Jeff, he immediately responded with a remediation plan to grind down the excess metal fastener and repaint the underlayment to match the house color. While this has not occured yet, it is scheduled to be done tomorrow.

When they showed up and started the job it was great. The crew they had on our house was excellent and worked extremely hard. They finished the entire job in 3 days. Very impressive ! I was not happy with the number of times they pushed us off. It appeared they over commited themselves and it was very frustrating. We scheduled the job early in the season to avoid this type of problem.

The work went well overall. The work started on time, completed as expected, and no issues seen with clean up on the property.

Crew arrived very promptly and got to work immediately. They were finished in about 6 hours despite having to wait for materials. The crew replaced some of the plywood roofing over the clearstory, but did not paint it. I have had to hire a handyman to do this. I have the paint and the crew could have asked

I had a time constraint of needing the work done in about a month. They assured me they could work within that time constraint and they did! The workers were always polite and professional. They worked late one night to finish up and had the leftover materials hauled away the next day. The crew did a great job and worked quickly to get the roof done in time. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Was very impressed with Bull Mountain Roofing's work. Hector came out for the initial assessment and quote and what separated him from the other bids we got was his willingness to explain the "why" behind everything. He took a lot of time to breakdown for me the different aspects of roofing. He had his own ideas, but was very willing to work with us on our wants, showing his flexibility and professionalism. Leading up to the installation, which we thought would be 4-6 weeks, they called asking if they could come in the next few days. They came out bright and early on a Friday, punctual to the time that was said, and worked very hard throughout the entire day. The men working were courteous and easy to talk to. They even let me walk up on the roof to watch what they were doing, even explaining things as they worked. They finished our entire roof in one day, cleaned up after themselves with barely any scraps laying around the house. The job looked very clean and our roof looks great. Their follow-up post-installation was prompt. It doesn't hurt that their price quote was the lowest of the 6 roofing contractors we had come out. All other companies were more expensive and 4-8 weeks out in their work; Bull Mountain Roofing squeezed us in and got the job done very quickly without sacrificing quality. Would definitely use them again and would recommend to others.

Bull Mountain was the 3rd of three companies I met with about our roof replacement. Hector really knows his stuff and took the time during our meeting to explain things thoroughly. He spoke about specifics around what they do do ensure a quality outcome. We had seen them do our neighbor's house 2 years ago. Our neighbor's recommendation weighed heavily on our decision too. We were lucky to have a stretch of dry weather and the crew worked around 12-13 hours each day to get it knocked out. It took 3 days total for the tear-off, etc. Our house is on the larger side (3100 sq ft) with a very steep roof.
