Northern Wasco County Pud

some little man representing N Wasco Co. PUD came to my door and told me my trees in my front lawn needed cut down because they were getting close to power lines and that they were dying anyway. I said absolutely not. He told me they would not trim them, only cut them down. I said i would take full responsibilty for it. I called an expert who said the trees were totally healthy. I then made an appt. to have them cut back. I wrote yhe manager and informed him of this. while i was waiting for the tree trimmer, w/o any notice they came and cut my trees to the ground while i was at work. They claimed they did not receive the letter because i did not send  it w/ proof of receipt. these were beautiful 50 year old trees that were destroyed because some "very little man" did not want to be told NO.  these trees added value to my home. not to mention beauty. they replaced them w/ a couple of "sticks" they called trees. they would not even give me my wood from the trees, My warning is... do not trust that your wishes will be heard by this company. make sure you protect yourself legally when dealing w/ them because they certainly will take advantage of you, and they have the power over you to do so. i am not the only homeowner in The Dalles OR. they have done this too. PLEASE BE AWARE!!!

It was free because it was a service they provided. Some of the homes around here, the duct work had been improperly installed. They just reconnected all the duct work in the entire house. They properly installed it and shielded up with duct tape. Northern Wasco Electric is the electric company we belong to and they provided that service. That was the best they did and they were great. The service was free.  They instigated the whole thing and that has to be good. I would use them again in the future.
