It went very well. They installed the new board about 5 days later and we were good to go. Lundell gave us a discount because we had used their services the year before and they considered us return customers

Lundell Plumbing Heating and Air has been great. I've had absolutely no problem with them whatsoever. They're excellent. They were professional. We had no problems. There was a mistake on the shipping of the materials ordered from the manufacturer and they quickly rectified it and apologize. It did not interrupt our flow of business. They were very efficient. They didn't take a long at all to do what was needed to be done. They have great follow-up service. I didn't have any problems with them about the inspection process from the a local government coming in and inspecting what's been installed.

The quality of the work performed was excellent. The technician (Rod), who is also the owner, quickly identified the repairs needed and fixed the problem in less than an hour. Plus, he wrote a detailed invoice for our home warranty company so that we were able to submit that invoice to the insurer, who quickly processsed the claim.
Rod was also able to describe what other work had been done on the heat pump and which parts, such as the compressor, were original equipment. Because the heat pump is more than 15 years old, if Rod had said the unit needed to be replaced, I would have believed him. Fortunately, Rod is an honest man who saved us a lot of money by fixing equipment that still has some good life left in it.
Had we not waited so long for service, I would have given this company all A's . . . but when you're good, everybody wants you! There is a big difference between a skilled technician and a tinkerer. In the long run, it saves money to wait for a skilled technician than to call a tinkerer.
Possibly, more communication between the employee who handles scheduling and the technician would have helped. I called on a Monday morning and was told the technician would be out Wednesday or Thursday at the latest of that week. However, no one came and no one called even though I left several messages. Fortunately, persistance paid off and after talking personally with the owner about the scheduling issue, Rod arrived early the following week.
Inspite of the longer than anticipated wait, I highly recommend Lundell Plumbing Heating and Air and will call again when our old heat pump needs repair or replacement.

They do great work, but have to be a little more careful, as he drained the pipe into my washer drainpipe and didn't hook it back up and I had a floor full of water when I washed a load of clothes. I called them and they were nice about it. Otherwise, they are excellent and I will use them again.
