We bought a new bed for our son and when it was delivered they scratched the whole side
of one end of the bed.Instead of taking the bed apart after I told them
it would not fit up our curved and narrow stairway, they chose to try it
in one piece. They could not get it up and so they took  one side off
and then tried again. It still did not make it up so they took it all
apart. I was doing rearranging downstairs and when they were done they
asked me to sign a paper saying they were here and it was delivered and
rushed off. Later that day I realized that they bed was hit on something
and they left with it having marks so we called the store for help.
They said that the paper I signed stated that it was in good condition
and that was that. They refused to do anything but said they could pick
it up and let it be, they could pick it up and bring a new one but said
they would charge an extra $100 because they marked down the wrong price
when we bought it, or we could fix it ourselves. She insisted that she
was hoping I would be okay with the mix-up because we got a steal of a
deal even though we didn't know it. How is that right or fair to us as
the buyers? Now we are having to pay for their mistakes.
