The estimator came out on the day he agreed to. I got the written up quote by e-mail that evening. He quoted me for the complete insulation required by code for my new home construction. He also included quotes for upgrading the insulation above code (so that I could comply with certain energy requirements not in the code) and included quotes for sound insulation for the baths and bedrooms. 
I scheduled for the installation about two weeks later. Two guys came out the first day and did a lot of the batts in the ceilings and walls. The next day two guys came out and blew insulation in the walls and finished the batts in the floor. I passed the inspection the next day.
All around it was an excellent job for a fair price and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The estimator came when he said he would and the work was done when they said it would be done. Only one guy came to do the work so it took 2 days rather than one. He also told me about some things he saw under the house that I was able to also get taken care of. He made sure to tell me (and not as a sales pitch) and I thought that was kind.
Overall, they did a good job. It's the kind of job one can do themselves at a much lower rate but it was worth it since it's no fun being under the house that long. House is staying warm and I expect a good savings in heating.
Also, they initiated the forms for an energy rebate. We'll get close to $400 back.

They did very well. Overall they were good. They had the lowest price. They were pretty professional.

Very well. The spray-on foam was done relatively neatly and evenly (given how difficult it is to apply). The blow-in insulation was also very well done. They did a thorough job in a reasonable time frame, and cleaned up after themselves. I believe my house is very well insulated. I would recommend them to others.

The Home Insulation Contractors boys came out 3 times to do various stages of insulating. At first they blew in BIBS and insulated all the walls. Using their knowledge of the code, we had additional vapor barrier installed in the vaulted ceiling in the top floor and I ended up using a primer with vapor barrier in it. The next time they insulated all the floors and ceilings. Again, using their knowledge, we decided on R25 which was a great solution for the money. Finally they came out and stapled up Gorilla Wrap to keep the fiberglass out of all our stuff in the basement. Nice work at a great price.

Home Insulation Contractors were prompt about scheduling when they would perform the job. I called a year after the bid to schedule the job, and they still had it on file! Fortunately, the pricing hadn't changed from last year. The people who came to the house were prompt and courteous, letting me know what they did in the attic after the job was completed. It took them less than an hour to complete the job. I had to look up information and ask about the Energy Trust of Oregon insulation rebate, then contacted them about the process. If I didn't already know about Energy Trust of Oregon, I may not have received any information from the company about it (nor my rebate).
