The removal of the old system went off without incident using equipment brought on-site by WVP. They provided a bid for a conventional system as well as a constant pressure system. We chose the constant pressure system in spite of the additional cost ($350-400)because of the benefits including no line pressure drop prior to start-up that is associated with conventional well systems. The install of the new system was well and professionally done. It took most of a day to accomplish removal and replacement. The new system has a very small reservoir tank in comparison to the gigantic tank with the old system. Much more room in the pump house now. The techs shocked the well with chlorine which did result in a fairly lengthy (weeks) residue of chlorine in the water. I believe this is a result of the low water usage that we have due to mostly new, water-saving appliances and plumbing fixtures. The system has worked flawlessly since the install. We have substantially more water pressure than before and no pressure drop as promised. WVP are experts at what they do and I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

WVP came very quickly when we had an emergency, but less promptly for
routine work. Greg was good at trouble-shooting and suggesting solutions
that would work for us. We will continue to use WVP for our pump
repairs based on their competence and caring attitude.
