After not having much luck with some other local scaffolding contractors, I called Safway Services in Springfield. They said an estimator would call me right back. In less than 10 minutes, a gentleman named Ron contacted me and scheduled a time at my convenience to look at the project. The only time I had available in the near future was after 7pm on a Saturday - I was surprised when he said "no problem". Ron showed up at right at 7pm and took measurements, answered all my questions, and even gave me a quick sketch of what the scaffold would look like. He designed a scaffold to fit my budgeted price and had a quote faxed to me Monday morning. Workers showed up on time, were very nice, and put the scaffold up in no time. When the job was finished, they left the area clean and I received an invoice for the agreed upon amount 2 weeks later. Ron kept in contact with me during the duration of the project and even came out to check on the scaffold. By far the best sub-contractor I had. A+

I needed to put new siding on my business and after numerous contractors telling me that they could not complete 2 sides of my business, due to not being able to use ladders or scaffolding, I decided to call a few scaffold companies myself. Contacted 3 scaffold companies to try and compare prices. McKenzie Scaffold showed up 2 1/2 hours late and then the estimator (Steve?) told me I would have to remove part of the deck to install scaffold. They faxed a quote over but would not return my phone calls. I called Safway Services, Inc last. Their estimator, Ron, was extremely easy to work with. He scheduled the estimate around our business hours (after 6pm), was on time, and designed a scaffold that could not only fit over our deck but one that the painters could use as well - he even gave me a sketch before he left. The price was reasonable and Ron kept in contact with me to answer any questions. The scaffold was built fast and when they removed it, they left the area clean. A+
