PAINT LIQUIDATORS

The storefront and atmosphere is fairly unprofessional; reminded me more of a paint garage sale that a retail store. The staff was friendly if somewhat unprofessional. I took a paint chip that I hoped to match, and the salesman (not the owner) said he could do it. This involved mixing 4 slightly different 5-gallon buckets together and then tweaking the blend with bits from other buckets. The process was very manual and interactive. It took over an hour, but in the end I was quite happy with the color. I considered the whole process fun, but it could have easily not turned out as well as it did. The paint quality seemed on par with major brands and brushed and sprayed fine. I am very pleased with the look; it was just what we wanted. Time will tell on the longevity. I would recommend this place only if you can be flexible on color choice, are willing to take some risk on quality, and want to save money. I would buy again, but not if the job called for perfection.
