O'HARA REPAIR

In February 2017, our duel fuel range needed repair and on the recommendation of the manufacturer (Thermador) we contacted O’Hara Repair. David O’Hara was prompt for the initial appointment, was cordial and quickly diagnosed the problem. We gave him an additional $168.50 to purchase the control board to repair the range with a promise to set up the next appointment in a week. He said the part would arrive within a few days. Six weeks passed without a call from O’Hara Repair. After several attempts to reach O’Hara Repair he set up the next appointment that week with a promise to be at our home between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. After waiting all afternoon with no call from O’Hara Repair I called him. He said he was running behind and would be at our home at 6:00 PM. Shortly after he arrived he discovered he had received the wrong part and would reorder the part. After several more weeks with no communication I once again called him and he agreed to be at our home Thursday, July 13, 2017 between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. After waiting all afternoon and several phone calls to his voice mail we have not seen him or had any contact with him since.

We have had a horrible experience with O'Hara's appliance repair. Right now I have a broken microwave, the stove top igniters needs some work. We have already paid for the work and now we can't get a hold of them. It has been a month. He doesn't call back. We paid him $384 for the parts for our decor appliances. He said it would take a couple of weeks. He has the parts because, we did reach him on the phone once. We scheduled an appointment for Monday between three and five. He never showed, called, we have called him everyday since then, and we haven't got a return call. He didn't do any work, He was knowledgeable and he acted professional. He was pleasant and on time when he came out.
