It all went perfectly.

Great! Arrived right on time! Excellent work; reasonably price; got problem fixed the first visit!

He was able to adjust his schedule to help us right away so the three neighbors would not be without a mailbox for more than one day. He assessed the situation and was able to straighten out the metal pole that held the platform. Then he went to get supplies needed to build a platform. He was very efficient and put together the new platform very quickly. I couldn't be happier with the service he provided.

Lyness did an outstanding job and we would hire him again without hesitation. He arrived on time and even called to let us know he was on the way. He takes pride in his work to do the job right the first time. He even took pictures for us during the work process and in the crawl space so we could see the damage and how the repair was made. He was an excellent communicator and professional throughout the process to let us know what was being done. His fees were appropriate for quality work.

lyness fixed a bed frame that was in need of repair. he also replaced the cartridge in the bathroom water faucet that was leaking. his estimate for time was correct for billing. he had to actually leave to buy the proper cartridge but returned very quickly. he completed both jobs expeditiously & i would most certainly recommend him to friends & neighbors & call him again in the future. it's very difficult finding a handyman willing to do "odd" jobs anymore -- jobs that don't require thousands of dollars & days of work. my favorite handyman certainly fits the bill as an all around reputable handyman.

The great thing about Lyness is that he has both a plumber's and an electrician's license. He is a super nice and responsible person. I trust him a lot, and I have called him about a variety of plumbing and electrical things, as well as general handyman stuff, over the years. The thing that is frustrating to me is that it's pretty much a flat $85 no matter what, and sometimes that feels like a LOT to show up at my door and fix something simple that takes a short amount of time (but something I can't do). The other thing is that he isn't a great cleaner-upper kind of person, so if you WANT things cleaned up really well, make sure to ask him to do that.

The project turned out to be more complicated than we knew because some of the underlying structure was damaged. Lyness improvised using some spare wood we had and fixed the issue at the foundation. I enjoyed working with Lyness. He is intelligent and hard working. I would certainly use him again if the need arises.

It was pretty extensive and we were dealing with weather and it took around three weeks to do a bid. It is probably the best barn in this side of the cascades. It is a really nice building now. He did a very good job and his attitude is 'if I have to do the job, I have to do it right' and that kind of works with my attitude. He has done a number of things and all of them I have been very pleased with.

Lyness is exceptional. He is multi-talented and can even do plumbing and electrical tasks. You can't go wrong having Lyness around!

Lyness was prompt and efficient. We have some weird angles in our bathroom and he took the time to get all of his cuts right so that the job was done right. He caulked any gaps due to the unevenness of the walls and tile floors. We are very happy with his attention to detail.

He also checked out another project - dry rot on a outbuilding. He spoke in terms that were understandable and is approaching the problem of the dry rot in not just making the repairs but fixing the cause of the problem.

It's been excellent and I've used them before. He's reliable, very professional and honest that's why I decided to go to him.

I chose him based on other reviews here and was glad I did. Prompt, quick, professional.

Lyness called me within hours of receiving my initial call and within one week, he was able to schedule a time for me. He was personable, professional and on time. While he was here, we discussed the possibility of future improvement projects I would like to do. I will be calling him again.

Overall went great, he came and did what he said. I always hate paying over $100.00 for 5 minutes of work. Charges a hours worth regardless. But, did take advantage of his time (since i paid for it) and asked him several questions about repairs and other things i could changes in my home.
He was on time and very professional I would use again. It's worth the price to get a job well done...I am just a cheapskate!
