A GENTLE TOUCH HOUSE CLEANING LLC

I was very disappointed with this service. Initially, on the phone, I was quoted $180 for 6 hours. I was not told that this meant for only 1 person. So, when the 3 person crew showed up (45 minutes late), she told me it would take 3 1/2 to 4 hours to do the house and that it would cost me about $400. I could not spend that much so I asked her if 2 "crew members" could do as much as they could for $250, which worked out to 2 1/2 hours. When I returned, I was shocked to see dust everywhere, dirt all over the floors, cobwebs all over, NO surfaces wiped down except the bathrooms and nothing vacuumed. Three people did the work of 1 person.

When I contacted Gentle Touch I was given the minimum amount, the hourly rate per person, and the assurance the the team would be able to move a few light pieces of furniture. The team arrived on time and spent almost 3 hours cleaning. I only wish that I had requested an estimate before they started, since the final total was more than I had planned to spend. Lacking my request, I believe the team leader should have offered that information at the beginning of the job.
