SHERWOOD FAMILY PET CLINIC

The visit went well. As been our experience with this office the vets have a genuine concern for our dog and take very good care of her.

I don't go into an exam room for that. They just come right out and do it. That is all he needs is that shot. I have met all the doctors. He seems to get real nervous when we pull into the parking lot. He had to have all his teeth pulled when he chewed through a metal crate. He got out. He has hardly any teeth left. They had to pull out all the roots. He had to stay there a few days after his knee service. Sometimes he gets nervous, and sometimes he gets a snack.

Its not that they recognize the people, and the animals who come in. The new guys will look at me and said, you got Leo. They love the animals who are coming in. They have a chalkboard that says Leo, or the animal going in. All of our animals have gone there for about ten years. I am surprise that when I call, and they can get me an appointment that afternoon.

This was for a consultation on our cat and for some testing because he was not eating right and was losing a lot of weight.  They're very prompt when we take him in and they take him right back to see the doctor.  The technicians were very attentive to keep him reasonably engaged so he didn't get all stupid on them.  All in all, I think they do a good job.  He got put on a special diet and that's working very well.

We have also used them in the past for veterinary services.  This was for grooming, trimming the cat's claws.  They're very responsive and they do it in the time they said they would.  The cat's always ready when they say he will be.  Our cat just does not like people messing with him, but he didn't bite anybody, so that was good.  They're very positive there and as far as I know, they do a good job.   There have been a couple of situations where they've advised my wife that there's something unusual going on and they recommended treatment or a prescription for new food.  My wife seems very satisfied with the level of service there.

They're really friendly with the dog, did a good job and are awesome with customer service.

I have been taking our pets here for about 10 years. We see Dr. Woodside and she is just excellent. We have also seen some other vets here in the past who are also great. The pricing is a little high, but the quality of service is well worth it. The staff is always very kind, accommodating and thoughtful. It is very easy to schedule an appointment. They have a good sized clinic and do a lot of lab work on site.

This Clinic has cared for our pets for over 12 years, always with great professionalism and caring. We have been taking our cats to Dr. Woodside the majority of this time and find her to be approachable, caring and willing to take the time to thoroughly explain any issues with our pets. We have placed our trust in this Clinic to manage the well being of our pets. They have lived up to our expectations without exception.

The Vets at this clinic are all top notch vets that stay on top of all the latest and best treatments for everything from dental treatment to treating many difficult and unusual maladies that may hit our pets. Their compassion toward my pets and me is truely heart-warming. I am moving out of the immediate area but I will remain with SFPC now and in the future. The confidence they inspire will keep me coming back. I have entrusted them with my 'kids' for over 10 years now and would not take them anywhere else unless it was an emergency.

I have switched to this clinic from another that is closer to my house because I have found that I get more personalized attention, clearer information about their findings and what I need to do as well as less expense. I have compared their charges for the same procedure performed on another cat at a different clinic a month previously and in all cases their charge was lower and my kitty received more detailed attention and received a more thorough exam.

Not only does the vet provide clear explanations of what she was checking, her findings and her recommendations for diagnosis/treatment, they also provide a printout of their findings and recommended treatment. When I picked my kitty up after his dental, they had printed detailed take-home instructions on what to expect and what to watch out for. The instructions also included information on what medications had been prescribed and when I should give the first dose. They also verbally reviewed all of the printed information with me and answered any questions I had. At other vets I've received very quick, verbal instructions with nothing in writing. They also provide a printed estimate of recommended procedures in advance of you agreeing and they clearly tell you any that they feel are optional items.

I have been into the clinic 4 times now and I've been very impressed every time.

They are very expensive and push what I consider to be unnecessary tests and procedures.

I've used this vet for many years and have always been very happy with their help and customer service.
