We hired Performance to repair some siding on our house. Professional. Punctual. Great communication. Reasonable cost. Very impressed. We will hire them again for sure.

Project Details: Custom cedar fence with gates Replace large concrete pad Replace front door Replace basement windows Update exterior facade of entryway Overall, we had a very good experience working with Ryan and his team. We love the work they did. They charged a fair rate and did the work in a timely manner. We will likely hire Performance again for future work. Communication: Ryan was easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and presented us with clear options and recommendations when needed. He even answered my questions that were unrelated to the projects we had going on. Quality of work: We were fortunate to have Ryan doing most of our work. He took his time and made sure every detail was addressed properly, from making seamless transitions on the fence to making custom moulding for our door. Scope and Cost: There were no surprises. Ryan kept us updated on the timeline at all stages and discussed how any changes to the original plan would impact cost. Our quote only went up from what was originally estimated because we made changes to materials and processes. Hiccups: Unfortunately, not everything went perfectly. After significant delays in getting our basement windows (no fault of Performance), the windows were sloppily installed by some of the team. Fortunately, Ryan came out reviewed the work and fixed everything at no extra cost. Now the windows look and work great.

Major Home Repair (General Contractor)
$5,500
I will start off by saying I am a tough client, but that is only because I know how and when things should be done correctly according to industry standards. I was a general contractor for years and now own a custom furniture company. I understand and know what good and bad quality looks like. The good: Ryan is a really nice and friendly guy. Pricing was middle of the road. The bad: Very low level of quality. Extremely poor communication skills. 1 week plus response times, phone and email. Laundry room remodel Remove window: Ok that I know of. Reframe/replace siding and drywall: Ok that I know of. They left exposed roofing nails on the top row of siding. The rest of the house has no exposed nails. Exterior paint: I had to ask them to re-paint and touch up the trim where things were dinged up after they said they were done. They used a roller rather than a sprayer which left a heavy texture that does not match the rest of the house. Wall: They added in a small 36" wide standard framed wall next to the door to hide the washer and dryer. This wall feels solid but is about 1" out of plumb top to bottom. Now the gap that you see between the wall and the cabinets I added in later looks real bad. They had to move a light switch onto the new wall, but didn'™t pull out the box on the existing wall and covered half of it with drywall. After they left I replaced the switch cover and noticed the light switch wasn't even screwed in. Move dryer: New power and vent. Our contract clearly outlines a separate and professional electrician coming in and completing this work. They never told me until it was too late but did the work themselves. Now the 220v receptacle box sits about 1/4" crooked out from the wall. So far the vent work seems fine and I didn't see any leaks, but the quality of the work was low. The galvanized vent ceiling flange was hanging off the ceiling since the screws didn'™t contact any wood and just loosed up on there own. New Pull Down Attic Door: This was and is still a complete disaster. The door was installed so out of square the door seal was broken on one side and was almost an .75" out. The trim was not paint ready like we discussed and poorly done. There was a 5/8" gap on one side plus the one of the pieces was hanging off the ceiling about .5". They shot finish nails into sheet rock and thought that was good enough. I asked them to come back and fix all of this and it took one month for them to return. Ryan came back and said he fixed the door. It looked good and almost square when I looked at it. A week later I pulled it down and put a box in the attic. Once I went to shut the door it slammed into the trim and wouldn't shut because it was so crooked. I haven't tried to fix this yet, but I think I might have to pull it out completely. Remove linoleum tiles, new self leveling concrete floor with a glossy seal coat: They pulled up the linoleum floor but didn't remove the tiles under the water heater an

Ryan and his crew provided exemplary service to us - I would give a rating of 10 stars if I could. We sought assistance to repair damage from a water leak as we prepped to have new carpet installed. It felt like other businesses saw our misfortune as opportunity, but from the beginning it was very clear that Ryan's focus was solving our problem - in the most thorough and expeditious way possible. I appreciated their clear communication and attention to detail. My house is solid, and the finish is beautiful. I would not hesitate to call them again for any future work. They are trustworthy. In fact, I am wondering if there are other projects I have put off...

Ryan and Mark were very professional. I appreciated being informed about each step in the project. I also appreciated the way the job site was cleaned at the end of each day!
