They were quite good. The team leader wasn't happy with it at first, so they re-did it to our satisfaction. They really went the whole 9 yards. They do things the right way, and I appreciate that. They don't just disappear after the job is done either.

Paul was responsive and professional, and came highly recommended by two different friends. I ended up choosing the original business because it also had a good reputation, and bid was lower.

 We were doing part of the work ourselves and they were very accommodating to that. Paul cares a lot about his workers and it shows. They are very nice people and stand behind their work. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used them...spent 10's of thousands of dollars with them...and wiould recommend them highly.

The things that stand out are professionalism, responsiveness, he's reasonably priced and does good work.

Working with Paul is a pleasure. His expertise and experience are valued when tackling any landscaping project. He provides a variety of options/costs and pros/cons of each approach.

They were the only ones willing to come out during a winter freeze when we were having serious concerns about another company having not done what they were suppose to with our sprinkler system. They are thorough, good communicators, and fair. We can't recommend them strongly enough.

Working with Contour was a great experience. Paul arrived on time to look at the job. We discussed my plans and he provided his advice and suggestions about the best way to execute the plan. A few days later I had a detailed estimate that was very competitive amongst the 3 bids I received.. I was on a budget and he itemized each of the tasks to be done so I could pick and choose what I could afford now, and what I would need to do myself, or complete at a later time. A few weeks later we chose Contour and scheduled a time to start. The team did everything that was asked and more. It was a two day job and I met with Paul after the first day to discuss the project and to make sure I was satisfied. The final result was exactly what I was expecting, they even graded more of the yard than I anticipated and it looks great. After the job was done, I met with Paul again and he went over exactly what he did and explained what I needed to do to complete my retaining wall and patio. What I really appreciated about Paul was his willingness to work with me . He respected that I was on a budget and that wanted to complete a good portion of the work myself. He to took the time to coach me through the "how-tos" of building a retaining wall and laying a patio. In addition, Paul even offered to come by 3 times after he finished his work to make sure I was on the right track with my portions of the yard and give me guidance and advice as needed (at no cost)

They were very good. We called them during a snow storm because the previous company, Progress had failed to close down our sprinklers like they were supposed to and it was freezing. They came out during that horrible weather and worked out on our irrigation system and so we decided to hire them for the full service. They did not charge us anything for the estimate and the work is yet to be started.

The work was performed in Spring 2008, which was very wet and delayed their work more than expected. They worked hard when they could. Their workers are very conscientious and the management seems to take good care of them. Several have worked for this company for many years, which says a lot. One complaint I had was the number of times they strayed from the plans. When I pointed it out, they were quick to correct, but it did require that we be present a lot. Overall, I would say that if you are exacting in the work you want done, you will need to supervise closely and, if you do, you will get a good job at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.

One project has lead to another over 18 months.

Excellent. Because the shut valve had rusted and a pipe was broken, the only way to shut of the water was to shut of all the water to the house until the problem was fixed. I called before 8am and they were on site just after 9am the same day.

Paul came out. He was very gracious to take the time to teach us some things about our sprinkler system.

WE HAD TO GET APPROVAL FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD TO DO WHAT I WAS PLANNING. PAUL WAS GOOD ABOUT SITTING DOWN WITH ME TO REVISE THE PLAN SO THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION APPROVED THE PLANS. PAUL IS EXTREMELY GOOD AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. HE IS EASY AND WILLING TO DISCUSS PRICES AND MAKE SUGGESTIONS. WHEN HE SAYS HE'LL BE AT YOUR HOME AT A SPECIFIC TIME, HE SHOWS UP! HE IS ACCESSIBLE AND RETURNS CALLS QUICKLY. DOES EXCELLENT WORK. I WAS ABLE TO PICK HIS BRAIN AND ASK FOR SUGGESTIONS AND HE WASN'T EVEN OFFENDED WHEN I SAID I DIDN'T LIKE HIS SUGGESTIONS.
