Thomas is the ultimate professional! I had a large remodel done on my 1905 historic home. I got 3 estimates from different electrical companies and I only wanted Thomas to do the work because I could tell that as the owner and master electrician he has the most knowledge. Also, when I interviewed him for the job he was the most enthusiastic about my home and the project. He helped me design the lighting styles and layout and I am very happy with how it all turned out. Thomas, the owner, was on the job every day – they didn’t just send out some guy to work on my house. He was always on time and on schedule. He continually asked about my needs and made sure they were being met. Another great thing is that he packed out his own garbage so I wasn’t left to deal with all of it. I would highly recommend Thomas at Classic Electric for any residential remodel project!
Thomas was on-time. We re-walked the job, discussed some basic details and approach and he was off. Thomas executed the work quickly and cleanly. He kept me informed about some of the particulars in relation to possible inspections (this being a minor permit job). We have found our go to guy for all future electrical work.
Lights were constantly burning out, the electrical load was misplaced, yet Thomas came in and quickly cleaned up those problems (again, these problems were the result of installation long BEFORE we'd met Thomas) and our system's been working perfectly ever since.
We've used him for a couple of smaller interior projects and we've always been very, very pleased with his level of expertise and service. We'd use him again in a heartbeat.
These guys worked HARD. When there was dirt left over from the trench digging, they asked if I'd like them to put it in the back yard for my new garden. They gave me pointers on how to fix other things around the house so I could do them myself. They even tried to help me with a garden bed I was digging up, but couldn't get the trencher into the back yard.
I will be calling them back when I pull out the ugly gas furnace in the middle of the livingroom and put in an electric system.
electrical was a hodge-podge of the past decades. We knew there were things that we needed, but
as a whole system didn't know how to integrate all of the parts to make the
electrical work more reliably. Thomas
came by twice to discuss options, suggest upgrades and help us determine what
choices to make to stay within in our predetermined budget. He was extremely
punctual, professional and communicated what was happening from day to day. As
with most old homes he ran into some odd situations - like 2 inches of concrete
in one of our kitchen walls! but I feel like Thomas took the unexpected in
stride and completed the project on budget.
Thomas is very confident in his work and there's a reason
for it - he's really good at what he does and he goes the extra mile to make
sure things are up to a very high standard. I would rehire and recommend him to
do electrical work.
Came several times and did extensive research on property, online and with county personnel before making an estimate. Checked into heating equipment to meet business expectations and connected lights, heat and outlets to accommodate my convenience. Finished before my deadline.
Mr. Adams was always professional, helpful and NOT condescending to me as a layperson. His assistant, Brian, was as equally hard working, on time and courteous.
They also did a side job in the Main house and had a thorough knowledge of the wiring problems in a manufactured home.
Would recommend Classic Electric for ANY work you may have - new wiring, remodeling installation or correction, home, barn, hot tub - whatever you need electrically, Mr. Adams and crew is the professional you want to hire.
A few weeks ago I called Thomas from Classic Electric. I had a small job, one many electrical contractors would not even consider taking. I am sure their tyipical job is much larger than this one but Thomas made me feel like I was the only client he was working with. He took the time to hear the details of my problem, dropped by to take a look and then suggested a soluttion that actually saved me money (imagine that?)! He picked up the parts and installed the solution in just a few minutes. No messing around! No charging me for time to and from! No hidden costs. While he was doing the installation I learned that he specializes in remodeling projects where wires need to be concealed. I signed him right up to come back in April to help with my kitchen remodel. He gave me a bid but I truly did not need one. He is my new resource for electrical work of all kinds. I know he will treat me.
