Description of Work: Shane Dean Construction, Inc. Built our new home in Gearhart, Oregon. He hired some sub contractors without contracts, just on a hand shake. We were billed for services monthly. We found out near the end of the project that he did not pay many of the sub contractors he had hired for our project. He did not pay the sub contractors over $75,000. Then he declared bankruptcy. We were left with liens on our property and an uncompleted new home.

 + -1 moreIt took approximately 3 months for him to finish the job. He went bankrupt in the middle of the job and eventually a lien was put on my property. Shane Dean had measured the windows incorrectly and they were custom made. The window company would not take them back and came after me for the money . When he finally found another window company to finish the job, I had to pay for the windows up front as Shane had no money to buy them with and the company knew him as a bad risk for payment. He had already stiffed them and they did not trust him to pay for custom windows.. No credit!!! It was a nightmare from my end.
Description of Work: I had two large windows installed in my living room. I have vaulted ceilings and the windows were put in to reach the highest point and down to a regular ceiling level.
