HayesCo Painting

Did an excellent job!  Provided a quote of $350 to paint one of our bedrooms using two colors - one wall silver and the other a vibrant shade of green.  They were on time, worked all day and finished the job the same day and it was a hot day.  Did many extras as part of their regular service including cleaning the walls, touching up areas where we had previously painted ourselves (basically our mistakes!). The room looks great and you can tell it was professionally done.  We plan on hiring HayesCo Painting in the future and would recommend them to others.  If you want a professional job done with a company that stands by their quote and services included, who shows up on time and completes on time - this is the company for you.

Working with Loren is a joy.
Before he started the initial inspection, Loren mentioned several faded areas he had observed while driving up to the house. That impressed me. None of the other companies who bid the project said anything that made me feel they were observing the project from a distance; they only focused on what they could see from ground level at the house.
Loren talked about different paint types and finishes, what he recommended for my house and why. There were a few fix-it items he would add to the list.
The dollar amount of his bid was mid-range to others I received. Based on his local reputation, the professionalism of his approach, his knowledge of available products and the fact that he would take care of the repairs, I was comfortable asking him to put me on the season’s schedule.
A few weeks later he e-mailed an estimate of when he’d be ready to start my project. Mother Nature then stepped in, so I was prepared for the resulting 2-week delay. Loren e-mailed a definite start day. He estimated it would be a 2-week project; it took about 7 days.

I met with Loren once more for color selection, and he suggested using a higher level paint type, at no additional cost to me. As the project progressed, he suggested that due to the age and condition of the wood on the deck, we use Behr’s Deckover instead of a transparent stain. I agreed with both suggestions.
During the project I had a couple of questions, which I e-mailed to Loren. He typically checked e-mails either late in the evening or early in the morning, and would respond right away, so communicating with him was easy.
Loren did a fabulous job. The final bill brought no surprises, and he itemized all the fix-it items so I knew exactly what dollar went to what item. He does other repairs in the off-season, so I’m working on a to-do list for him.

From the beginning of the job Loren's team met my expectations and gave me a great finished product. He was willing to come into Portland and met my crazy time frame so that I could get my renter in early. The bathroom had a little drama that wasn't in the original scope of the job from being a older home and he completed all items with out any issues and brought it back around quickly. He brought me many choices for paint and the completed project was exactly what I was looking for.
