I hired Chad and his team for a finish carpentry project, including bookshelves and crown molding installation, and was ultimately very disappointed. Despite initial assurances, the team was unable to complete the job due to the specialized nature of the work — something that should have been assessed before starting.I requested a refund for the unfinished portion and an additional credit for the inconvenience, but Chad failed to resolve the issue or provide a clear response. After multiple weeks of unanswered phone calls, voicemails, and emails I was told a refund check for just the unfinished work (no credit for time, inconvenience, and need to hire another professional) was being mailed to me. On top of that, installation was initially done incorrectly with holes being cut in the unit for unneeded outlets without consultation, damage during delivery to the paint job I had just had completed (which I was told was not something they would repair), and scrap materials left for me to dispose of at my cost. Basic paint touch-ups and finishing work were delayed despite me communicating a firm deadline due to scheduled furniture delivery. The "final" product still has several flaws -- poor paint job and areas of the bookshelf unit that are rough and feel unfinished. The project began in April and was never completed, but I was done working with them in late August. The lack of follow-through, professionalism, and accountability was frustrating and costly. I strongly recommend finding another company to work with.

Quality of the cabinets seem OK but some of the shelves started sagging a couple months after installation. Although I expected this to be covered under the warranty, Crestwood isn't willing to install extra brackets to fix the issue! The items on the shelves are not heavy - just common food items or plates/bowls.

Every thing went great. They arrived and did the install on the scheduled day and finished the installation promptly. We now have beautiful cabinets and are very happy with their work. Craig is great to work with and took a lot of time reviewing our existing cabinets and then designing new ones. He listens well and had great suggestions for improvement. Very courteous and prompt.

The experience was great from the time of the original estimate through the installation. Everyone was friendly, professional and courteous. The cabinets are beautiful. The installers even went out of their way to create custom trim to match the cabinets for an area around our kitchen window.
We had one small problem with the molding over one of the cabinets and they came back promptly to repair it.
We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful custom cabinets at a reasonable price.

They were professional. There were some communication problems at times. We would send drawings of what we wanted and it took about 3 weeks to get a final product. All of the mistakes were taken care of though, and they were taken care of in a very positive way.

Chad personally measured for the cabs; I pointed out clearance requirements for the gas shutoff valve that would be behind the drawers. When the cooktop cab was installed, not only were the drawers too deep to close the outer cab doors, but the drawer slide system kept falling off the inside wall of the cab. New drawers had to be fabricated and wood supports installed for the slides, which eliminated adjusting the drawer heights without drilling new holes in the supports. The oven/micro stack cabinet was fabricated 2 inches too narrow, so in order to make that work an additional filler strip was later added because of a 2 inch gap between the refrigerator and the kitchen wall. Despite assurances that the refrigerator doors would open fully (I provided the manufacturers specs) the fact that the water/ice recess in the refrigerator door happened to line up with the wall oven handle was pure luck, otherwise the door would not be able to open far enough to open the drawers in the refrigerator. The over-the-refrigerator cabinet was fabricated too deep, so an interior divider panel was fabricated later. The replacement upper door (hinged on opposite side) was fabricated correctly, as were the glass doors. At least something went as expected........... Communication with Chad and Crestwood was not good; all calls to the shop were answered by a machine. Drawing quality was marginal at best; particularly when the installer showed me his set during the installation and the cabinets did not line up with the kitchen wall. So much for their "computer aided design." I had not seen or approved of the final drawings or sample stain color for the cabinets prior to install, but at that point I knew everything could be made to work eventually and was happy with the physical construction quality and finish of the cabinets. I was happy just to be done with the company. I cannot think of a single reason to recommend Crestwood Cabinets over any other shop and have taken the rest of my kitchen cabinet work elsewhere.
