Stone Edge Landscape Curbing LLC

These guys are refreshingly honest and professional.  I was referred to them by a friend who used them for landscape curbing in his backyard.  Because he was so happy with their work, I decided to give them a call and see what it would cost for them to do some decorative curbing for me.  They came to my house when they said they would for the estimate.  Being on time is always a good sign in my book.  They gave me the estimate which seemed reasonable, explained everything they were going to do in layman's terms so I could understand and stayed to explain anything I had questions about.  After talking for awhile, they complemented me on my house.  I welcomed them inside to check out what I was doing in my daylight basement.  When they came inside they saw that I was finishing up some plumbing that I was having done under my basement floor. They offered to help with pouring concrete in the holes that needed to be refilled.  Basically they would mix up the concrete in their big mixer for me and all I had to do was get some of my buddies to wheelbarrow it into my basement and towel it off.  They totally didn't have to do that for me, but there was no way I was going to turn away the offer to help.  They came to my house, laid the curbing and then mixed all the concrete I needed for my basement which turned out to be approximately 30(60 lb.) bags.  They charged me $50 to assist me with my basement.  Heck, the rental for the big concrete mixer at home depot is about $55.  It took about an hour for them to help with my basement.  I offered to give them more money for the extra time but they refused to take it.  Wow! How lucky am I and how great and generous are these guys.  You just can't hardly find people like this anymore.  Now, do I think they are going to do extra work for everyone?  Probably not.  But they had time left over and they didn't have anywhere pressing they had to be that day... so, would I hire these guys again?  Do you really have to ask me that after this review?  By the way, The landscape curbing is beautiful.  I recommend the stamped, stained version.  It's almost hard to believe it's concrete.  I didn't feel like they were in a huge hurry to get my job done and move on to another job.  They seemed to take their time and make sure everything was perfect before leaving.  It seemed like they were working as if it were their own backyard.  At least give these guys a chance to earn your business.  You won't regret it.  I certainly don't have any regrets.
