LOCKS ON WHEELS

I was contacted immediately after my inquiry. A date and time were set. The locksmith came on time. He was very professional. He fixed the immediate problem, but we need a new front door lock. We are using Locks on Wheels to perform this work.

Herb was very courteous and helpful over the phone. He explained the options patiently and thoroughly. I learned quite a bit. Marty was courteous and professional. They accommodated our having to reschedule, then change things up again in a helpful manner. 
I got the impression that they took pride in their work. Their pricing was also a bit better than the other company I called.

They were extremely professional, prompt, and courteous. Reset one of our doors, as it was loose at the hinges, for no extra cost. Gave me some helpful tips on keeping the locks lubricated.

This company was excellent. The proprietor advised me to go to one of the big box stores or Chown Hardware (also a great provider) to buy the locks I needed as he would not be able to get a better price. I followed his recommendation.
The locksmith turned up on time, completed his work in an efficient manner and tidied up the mess he made. He even helped us as we mounted our mailbox on our new house.
I have no hesitation in recommending Locks on Wheels.

This is my second time using Locks On Wheels. I love these guys!
The company I work for needed additional keys made for a locking case that we no longer had onsite. With only a code and a manufacturer, Liz was able to source the blanks and cut the keys for me. This may sound like a simple task, but the blanks were both rare and small. Liz went to her sources, combing the greater Portland area, and was able to get me the last three blanks in town. It took a few days, but her tenacity was totally appreciated. She filled me in on progress on a daily (sometimes twice daily) basis and was able to make my keys! You'd better believe, if I ever have another key issue, I'll be contacting Liz and Locks on Wheels again.

Liz is outstanding in every way -- on time or early, responsive, neat and clean, helpful. She indicated ways in which I could spend less and achieve good results. I'm sure there are a number of good locksmiths in metro Portland, but I'd swear by Liz and seek her help every time!

They showed up on time. Changed locks in the front and the back doors. Suggested installing a keyless lock on the inside which we might not have thought of. Replaced a door handle to the garage entrance.
When I noticed that door to the garage opened without having to turn the nob a few days later, I gave them a call and asked them to fix that too. They were happy to come right back and do it without an extra charge. I was a little afraid they might be like, and quot;but you didn't ask us to fix that.and quot; Instead they apologized for not noticing it right away. Happy customer.

Great service. These guys know what they are doing, work fast, and are super friendly. They came in right on schedule to change the locks and cut new keys. Once they left I found a few keys that were "sticky" in my new double-lock deadbolt so I called them up to ask about it. They turned around and came right back to the house and re-keyed the lock from scratch for no additional charge. If you need locks changed I would highly recommend Locks on Wheels!

The experience was good. They were a little bit expensive. I would use them again.

Liz responded to me promptly and more or less did the job as needed. The only problem was that she missed two of the doors, and I had to double check to make sure she had gotten them all. If I hadn't been on the ball, we would have wound up with two doors that we couldn't have locked until we had her come back to change those locks as well. She also cut both interior and exterior keys on the same style blank without asking if that was okay. It makes it very difficult to tell the two apart, which has led to some confusion. On the positive side, she found a non-working security bar on one of our doors and fixed it at no extra charge. She and her assistant are personable and easy to work with.

Our initial call to their answering service, who are extremely polite and courteous, was answered quickly by Herb. He asked a lot of useful questions so that he and Liz were prepared to replace and re-key locks as needed. We had a small challenge with a lock sticking, which was the fault of our lock not their workmanship, and Liz and Herb came back on two separate occasions to make sure everything was working smoothly. I would not hesitate in recommending Locks on Wheels. We are very pleased with the work they have done for us.

Liz and her assistant showed up on time and went right to work. Very shortly the modern locks were changed. Liz puzzled over the front door lock because of its peculiarities and age. After rummaging around in her truck she was able to find the appropriate mechanism to once again have the lock functioning. Apparently locksmiths enjoy collecting old locks not only because they love them but also because they come in handy when retrofitting old homes. At any rate she was able to fix the broken lock without ruining the look of the door or having to drill and install a new one.

Making an appointment involved calling the company and then having one of the workers call back to arrange on appointment. They were able to arrange an appt. the next day. I had some questions about their specific services that they provided and they were extremely friendly and patient. They arrived on time on the day of the appointment. There were two people who arrived who split up the jobs. They spent time teaching me things about the locks and made recommendations on the best type of lock that would go with each door. It took them about 30 minutes to change all our locks (7) and make as many keys as I requested. They were also able to provide suggestions on how to manage our garage door, which was an older door. Rather than changing the lock on this door, they said that they would personally change it out for a new one in the future, which would be provide more bang for the buck. Overall I was very impressed with their service and professionalism.

Liz responded the same day to my voice mail. She had already come recommended by a friend. We set a date and time. She arrived on time, answered my questions and worked quickly. Very professional and personable!
