Carpets By Rex Kurtz

We have used Carpets by Rex many times over the years and ALWAYS receive the same great (and personal) service. This time we did an addition on our house and since we have used him before (he does all the work himself- no hired guys) there was no question about getting any other bids. We knew going in that the carpet would be exactly as agreed and the carpet pad would be better than the standard offered by others ~ no shortcuts. He gave us a quote for the carpet job we wanted, showed up on the day he said (early as usual) and proceeded to do the job. When completed he had us check out his work. Like I said, we have used him over the years for both our home and our business carpet needs. He takes pride in his work and it shows.

I called in late afternoon and Rex said he could come right then, he showed up in 10 min, did the job I ask him to do.

We have worked with Rex in the past to patch up a small area where we opened up the doorway. We called him to schedule. He asked if we had the carpet. We informed him that we purchased from home depot. He offered to pick up the carpet for us. He also called us mid week to confirm if the carpet had arrived and to schedule the official service. He was prompt, efficient and clean. Would use him again.

After looking at several large carpet stores and checking on Angie's List for others, we were given Rex Kurtz's name as another source for carpet and installation. We were so fortunate to find him, word of mouth is how he gets his clients. He contacted us quickly, and we made an appointment for him to come to our house, measure the two rooms (living and dining room) and give us a price. Before Rex came to our house, we measured our rooms and came up with an approximate square yard total. After Rex measured it, we found our measurements were off by 10 square yards, 10 square yards LESS than we thought. He brought a selection of carpet with him and we we chose a very nice carpet that would work well for us, we have grandkids, dogs and cats so we needed something that would hold up well. Within a few days, he was back, took all the old carpet and pad (which were about 20 years old), cleaned up the two areas, and had it ready for installation. The next day he was back, installed all of it and delivered an area rug to the binders. He was back again the next day with that done! Not only was this done quickly and beautifully, this project was completely done by Rex, he rarely uses another person to help. We would recommend him highly to everyone!
