Francisco showed up promptly at the time we had set for him to scope out the project. The estimated price was good, so I gave him the go-ahead. He and his crew showed up 15 minutes ahead of schedule on the appointed day and took out the trees and branches with the precision and efficiency I've come to expect from them over the years. Although some of the work had to be done on my neighbor's side of the fence, not a single leaf or flower in his garden was harmed, and every piece of debris was removed.

Willamette Tree showed up on time 7:30am on a Saturday with 2 full crews, 2 big boom trucks, chippers, etc. They successfully removed our huge white oak tree without property damage. The location of the tree was extremely challenging with the potential of seriously damaging two houses if even the slightest mistake was made. They cut the tree into manageable pieces and helped with some of the distribution of wood. Their precision work force completed the task in about 8 hours.

After I called, Mr. Tolento showed up on time once to give me a price estimate and again to do the actual work. He's never wasted my time being late. On the appointed day, he drove up with a three-man crew, chain saws and a forestry mulcher. They went at it like gangbusters and were done in just a few hours. They took everything down to the bare ground, didn't put a nick in the neighbors' homes or fences, and left the firs that I planted 40 years ago intact. (They even pried out a buzzard's nest of wire mesh that got wound around in the mulcher at one point.) This is the third time I've called Willamette Tree Service to do work I didn't have the time, muscle, training or equipment to handle. It won't be the last.

Francisco responded the same day I called, provided an estimate and pointed out a number of issues I had not noticed. We agreed on a price which I felt was reasonable. He and his assistant were at the house at 8:00 a.m. the following day to begin work. The work was done carefully with full consideration and care for all the surrounding plants and shrubs. They cleaned the area completely and hauled away all the debris.
My next door neighbor had recommended Willamette Tree Service, having used the service in the past. I will definitely use them again next year.

Contacted owner Mr. Tolento by email June 3. Set up onsite visit for June 4. Was provided estimate of $1300. I accepted the bid and scheduled work to begin June 5 at 7:30 a.m.
Owner and crew showed up promptly on June 5. Completed tree cutting tasks. The trees came down exactly where planned with no damage to surrounding plants or structures. They cut the trunks into 20-inch sections and stacked them, then picked up loose branches and other debris left from the cutting.
Crew returned the next day with a humongous truck-mounted chipper and reduced the previous day's cut branches to a small pile of chips perfect for mulching and adding structure to the soil over time.
They cleared the firebreak with a chain saw and string trimmer, tidied up a maple that was prone to dropping leaves onto a neighbor's deck, and removed a couple of saplings. They cut the maple into sections and piled the slash away from the property line.
Side note: Tolento is a wizard when it comes to strapping on the spikes and positioning himself exactly where he needs to be in the treetops. His cutting process is methodical and precise with an emphasis on safety; I think that's his secret for dropping sections of 15-foot branches from 40 feet up without damaging anything on the ground.
