"Hello [Member Name Removed], After locating the customer account, that you are referring to as you are not our customer, I have reviewed the account with my management team. The original order that the customer signed was indeed for a 12 wide X 20 long. We did apologize to the customer if there was a miscommunication with her and the outside sales rep regarding the size of the building, but we did call and confirm the size of the building prior to sending the order to production. Since the building was already sent to production and less than 2 weeks before installation, we do charge a 25% restocking fee as listed and agreed to on our contract, as all of our buildings are made to order. Regarding our price increase that took effect on February 1st, 2021, just like the lumber industry, the steel industry has also experienced a large cost increase across the board. Since the customer was requesting a larger building that means we would have to utilize new materials that were purchased at a higher cost. This is not something we wished to pass on to the customer but has become necessary. In reference to the phone call, we had with our customer, it is our policy to only speak with the individual listed on the contract as Ari had informed you during your conversation with her. When someone from our management team tried to reach out to you, you refused to talk with her and hung up on her. When we called our customer back in an attempt to go over her options and not to scold her as you stated, you felt the need to interject and violently scream at our associate and talk down to her as she was trying to help our customer with her options. Our office manager had listened in on the conversation that was also recorded. Lastly, Jackie is a valued employee that was simply doing her job and trying to discuss the customer's options with her directly. We have since talked to our customer and are on the same page as she felt the need to apologize for your actions and attitude with our staff."
"Hello [Member Name Removed], We would like to start by saying it is never our intention to deceive or mislead our customers. After further review of your account, you ordered a 24X30 building with a 14ft leg height some time ago. This year you also ordered a 24X30 with 9ft legs. All our buildings under 12 ft legs are single-leg unless a customer request otherwise or if they purchased an engineered model. We never force customers to purchase a double leg if it is not necessary for the durability of the buildings as double legs are DOUBLE the cost. This is not a "BAIT & SWITCH". If you review both order forms, and our price sheets you will notice a difference in the cost and see that you were charged accordingly. However, we are sorry that you are not satisfied with your recent purchase, but we did provide you with what the building ordered. Also, please remember we did review the order with you prior delivery to ensure that everything was correct on the order."
"Hello [Member Name Removed], Thank you for coming to WCMB for your carports needs. We are sorry hear that you were not aware you needed permitting. This is also why we have multiple signs in our waiting room that say "Does your county require permits?". We also have all of our associates ask that specific question before customers proceed with his/her building. Our next question is always asking the customer if they will need drawing/engineering with this building? We also go as far as to put it in our contract, that you signed. Regardless, we tried to help you with your building from 2 years ago to get the engineering you need. All that we need from you is a engineering checklist. The information from that will let our engineer know how to map out your drawings, but you refused to fill out the paper work. When you are ready to fill that out we are happy to help."
Great product and a very good price. WCMB is one only of a handful of manufacturer's of metal building's on the west coast. Like all mfg.'s they sell direct to the public and to so called and quot;dealer'sand quot;. Dealers do not represent the manufacturer and can be anyone who want's to call themselves a dealer. We bought direct and saved the 100% mark-up dealers charge. There are many option's to choose from and the nice folk's at West Cost worked with us to get just the right cover for us. If you can take a tour of their facility in Salem, OR

"The building was ordered thru Circle A Trailers in Bellingham, WA on 8/13/2013. The building was delivered and installed on 9/16/2013. Our contract gives 10 days to the customer to notify us of any manufacturing defects and we will accept requests up to 30 days after the install. Our contract and invoice, signed by customer, states "WCMB is not liable for any damages as a result of inclement weather." He didn't contact us until 1/13/2014 regarding this issue. At that time were told by [member name removed] that some screws holding the metal panels were popping out, causing the panels to move. He mentioned that there had been a wind storm which had caused these problems. Due to our mutually agreed upon contract, the customer is fully aware of our policies. There would be additional charges should the customer choose to have us return to do any further work; although we did offer to send him some screws by mail to his site address at no cost to him. All of our Customer Order forms must be filled out and signed with a deposit to activate the order. The Customer Order Forms must include dealer information and customer information. Circle A Trailers is a dealer for us, they only make sales for us. Once the sale is made they collect their commission and then forward the order to us. We have never had any complaints or issues with Circle A Trailers in the 8 years we have been working with them. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us directly at 1(866)404-7788."
Coast Metal Building followed up with us after North West Metal Buildings tried to rip us off. West Coast offered us the original 10% off our carport and rushed our order through; they helped make a nightmare turn into a really nice carport for my boat!!!
I'd recommend West Coast Metal Buildings to anyone that needs a carport or building.
t
My leveling job was not the greatest, they did some re-leveling and made sure all was plumb.
I am very pleased with the quick response and the professionalism of the installers. I recommend this company to anyone that needs any kind of structure.
