On 4/26/2020 I had United Structures perform a moss removal and roof treatment service on my home. The invoice states "Roof treatment is guaranteed for 2 years. Roof treatment can prevent moss growth for up to 3-5 years." Within 1.5 years, I now have moss growing on my roof again. I first attempted to contact Dominic via email ([email protected]) on 1/17/22 to have him come back out & take care of it but received no response. I sent another email on 1/19/22 (to that same email address & to [email protected]) and received no response. I sent another email on 1/26 (using the previous 2 email addresses as well as [email protected]) with no response. I called the number provided on the business card & the number on the invoice with no answer. I then texted both numbers, with no answer. I would like United Structures to refund my initial amount paid or finish the job.

United Structures is a great tree service company. I recently had several oak trees removed and am very pleased by the service they provided. Dominic and Ernesto are diligent and hard workers, always courteous, accommodating of my wishes and respectful of my property. Office manager Izzy kept me up to date of the estimate and scheduling of the project. I will use their service again if needed and highly recommend the company to others.

The arborist came out and discussed with me what needed to be done and I agreed with him. He was able to book it and get it done in less than a week. He did an excellent job, was very careful with my landscaping and cleaned up so that you hardly knew he had been here. Yes I will use them again as the need arises.

Very pleased. I had sent pictures of the door locks but the problem was actually the door and frame were out of square. Dominic was able to diagnose and resolve in one trip.

When the project was completed (Wednesday December 9, 2020) Dominic did a walk through to verify the paint job was indeed completed and you were satisfied. We made recommendations on the extensive dry rot we saw on the siding. You were given our professional recommendation by our experienced technicians but ultimately you made the executive decision. As a homeowner you are responsible for deciding which route you choose to go in as far as repairs. We urged you to replace your siding with new siding due to the extensive dry rot but it was something you declined. I apologize on behalf of everyone at United Structures. Please know that your situation was an exception. As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership. We care deeply for our customers and their homes. United Structures have locations in Salem and Portland which was perfect for me since I have two homes; and I was able to hire one company and get one estimate! They did some siding repair in my Tigard home and a window install + trim work in my Brooks Rental home. The employees were professional and worked promptly! They did a great job accomplishing my desired look and would definitely hire them again!

Dominic responded quickly to my initial inquiry and his work was very thorough and professional. His methods appeared to be non intrusive, thus preserving our roof shingles. He was not able to provide any discount for seniors or veterans for this single project, but we trust that the price will be worth it in the long run, since the price includes a guarantee of no moss for 2 years. I recommend this company to others.

Very well. Prompt, and took great care with work and house. Amazingly able to remove years of grime without damaging house or decorative pieces. No plants harmed. Windows and house sparkle. They are very responsive and communications went well for the most part. There were some minor issues that came up with payment methods because we're based out-of-state, but we worked things out. We would use them again and we signed up for their annual maintenance reminders.

I bought a "deal" on Angie's List $149 for up to 15 windows and screens and paid $22.35 to reserve this price, It took the service provider over a week to contact me which I thought was too long. They scheduled for further in the future than I would have liked but I guess they are very busy, They were supposed to show up between 8 and 10 and at 10 to 10 I go a call saying they were running late and could they come at noon, which I said was OK. I would have liked to know a little earlier. They did a great job of cleaning the windows though. What was not specified was that a "window" = 1 pane. So we were quit a bit over 15 windows. Then we also had the gutter in the rear of the house cleaned and the roof on the rear of the house swept off. They forgot to do the latter although they had given an estimate for both these jobs. When it was pointed out they completed the roof part.

We are usually booking 3-4 weeks out and did squeeze you in sooner to help with timing. Like you, our customer the day before requested additional work and we try to take care of each of our customers so we fell behind schedule for your appointment. You did request an additional estimate to clean your gutters and also your roof. After we provided the estimate you only asked to have the gutters cleaned. So when there was miscommunication between you and your husband when he saw the roof was not cleaned, we did it at no additional cost for you guys to make sure you were happy."

"We apologize for the inconvenience. Angie's List made an error on the deal initially and after two were sold already we had it corrected. We did contact Angie's List for you to get you a refund, they let us know you had to contact them directly in order to receive a refund so we gave you the phone and email to do that. You asked again to assist you with that so we emailed Angie's List asking for your refund and carbon copied you as well. Again we apologize for the inconvenience. At this point you spent more time giving us an F review for an error Angie's List made than if you would have just contacted Angie'sList for your refund they will give you."
