About us

A premier automotive repair and service facility providing reliable and honest solutions to your automotive repair and service needs since 1977 in Salem and its surrounding areas. We are conveniently located at the corner of 13th and Hoyt streets in south Salem. We are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday. We offer free local courtesy shuttle service and on-site towing service using our own trucks. We offer a full service warranty: 12 months on parts and labor. BBB Accredited and AAA Approved. The counterman was not civil to me and the oil filter was not tightened properly.  If I hadn't noticed oil on my garage floor the engine would have run out of oil.  This is a AAA recommended garage and I simply don't know what to make of this experience or of the good reviews by other customers.

They are always professional. They get back to me when they say they will, correctly diagnose problems and their price generally generally is exactly as quoted. The are real good with scheduling and get their work done quickly. They are also great in providing rides back to the office and pickup when the repair is complete. I totally trust their service manager, Wes, both that he knows what he's talking about and he's charging me a fair price.

My truck began running very roughly and I barely made it on home. I couldn't identify the problem, but smelled burned insulation/rubber. The unseen damage (open circuit causing arcing) to some wiring just wasn't visible. This was on a Sunday and no auto repair businesses were open. I wanted to get the truck repaired ASAP on Monday. Today's Automotive has a towing service, so I called them at 8:00am on Monday. Wes, the proprietor, dispatched the tow truck and had my truck hauled out of my driveway by about 8:45am -- fast, careful and courteous service from the driver. The new parts were ordered and the repair and test drive were done by 2:00pm. It runs perfectly again.

Today's Automotive is very highly recommended.

I have total trust in them both ethically and professionally. There prices are fair. On older cars they have advised when they don't think it's financially prudent to put more money in a car versus replace.

I ordered the the tires and they were shipped to Today's Automotive. Today's Automotive stores the Summer tires and I come back in the Spring and change them out. It's great. It's convenient. It's a great service.
