THOMAS KAY FLOORING & INTERIOR

In a long, round about way, I came across Thomas Kay from the Shaw carpet website. We found a carpet at a local carpet store in Corvallis. As part of my due diligence, I wanted to call around to area businesses for a quote on that particular carpet. It just so happened that Thomas Kay could get the same carpet for me and for a MUCH cheaper price than I was being quoted in Corvallis, Albany and other Salem stores. More than $5/sq yard installed cheaper! I spoke with Vince and he was very helpful. He provided a free in home estimate and even though I am located way down in Albany. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. He is a very nice guy!!! Because of the lack of reviews, I was very skeptical of the Thomas Kay company. I had never heard of them before. I was very honest with Vince about this and he invited me to see his showroom in Salem. I did go there and it was very nice. Vince went on to explain that his company's main focus is on commerical carpet sales for big projects such as schools, churches, airports, etc. He stated that made up 90% of his companies business and he is in charge with residential sales which makes up the remaining 10%. He also gave me a local reference to confirm his quality business. He gave me a contractor in Albany who has used him several times. I did call the reference and he had nothing but good things to say. After I bought the carpet, it was installed very professionally by a guy named Romero. He works for Vince frequently and he was a very nice man. Very professional. In the end, my experience went SUPERBLY! I saved a bunch of money on a really high quality carpet. If I ever need more flooring, I wouldn't hesitate to call Vince again.
