I was not impressed with the quality of his work nor his professionalism. Quality: visible gaps at many joints; garage side of entry door header was not nailed securely; left air gun nail protruding after a misfire; left for the day without installing the garage door knob and deadbolt; and he chose a less perfect facing edge on the kitchen sink window stool which I have to look at daily. Professionalism: he walked through our front door at 7 AM one morning without prior notice and without knocking first; he dumped his sawdust and cutoff scraps in the wrong recycle bin. I often felt as if Mr. Shartraw's focus was elsewhere and that he couldn't wait to leave the job site.
