They came to our home and found the part that was blown and they replaced it. Everything has worked fine since. They were straight forward and I have used them for other things. They are not cheap but they do a good job.

Went well. Technician was competent and personable. Our big Labradoodle is our official judge of character and she liked him. The part was a special-order item. He had to order the part and have it shipped to my home. Then, when it arrived, I had to call for him to come back and do the fix. A little strange. There was no extra charge for the added trip, but the washer was down for several days.

The estimate was not clear or detailed. The written paperwork I got didn't have any details about the units or other work required or needed.
I wasn't sure what we would be getting for the money, and the person doing the estimate was not clear. We needed some duct sealing and repair, he didn't include that in the estimate and wasn't sure what the cost would be.
He was negative about the competion, and was more salesman than service rep. He was more interested in making the sale than making sure we knew what we were getting or that we were getting what we needed. He also offered us a "special" promotion that would have required us to make a hasty decision. If we'd purchased that day, we would have received about $2000 off the price. If we took the time to get more estimates or do any other research about Sears or the units he was selling, we would have lost the promotion price.
We took our business to a company that had the same price no matter if we'd signed the same day, or a week later. The company we went with cost more than Sear's lowest price quoted, and less than Sear's highest price quoted.

The clerks were knowledgeable and friendly. They had the parts and we were happy with the ability to do the repairs ourselves. However if either of these appliance fail after another 20 years we will probably ask the folks there to do the repair for us. Two eighty year olds (in 20 years) crawling around on the floor fixing appliances is not a picture we want to see.

They are punctual and prompt. They give you an estimate. The tell you upfront what the charge just to come is. Once I called them and explained the problem with my TV and the technician was able to tell me on the phone that the problem was not fixable and he could save me nearly $96 that is their fee for coming out and making the house call. I was pleased. Their price under the contract is good, but outside of the contract it costs much more. Quality is excellent. They keep you informed and very responsive. I would use them again.

Heating and Air Conditioning Service
They were really good. It was not an easy job as it was a little cabin house and they worked really hard. They had a really tough time getting it put in but they did a fantastic job. They were pricey; I need to get some air conditioning work done here and I would rather call a local guy who is highly recommended. They were absolutely punctual and honest. It was a really good team.

Appliance Sale
I was not happy with my purchase because there was something wrong with the dryer and they had to come out twice to repair it in the first two weeks. They fixed it for me under my service contract. I rate them fairly. I will not use them again in the future.

Appliance Repair
I contacted Sears via their website (in order to save 10%) on 1/10 and scheduled an appointment to repair my gas oven. The appointment was set for a week later (1/17), as that was the soonest appointment available.
On the morning of the appointment, the repairman called to let me know he was on his way (I was his first appointment that morning), and asked how the roads were, as it was snowing that day. I explained my husband made it to work fine, and had no problems. 5 1/2 hours later, I called the repairman to see if he'd been in an accident because he never showed up. He explained that he couldn't make it up the hill (???) and that he called into the scheduling office to notify them, and that they were supposed to call me to reschedule the appointment. I never heard from anyone. So he told me he would call them again, and about 5 minutes later a woman called to reschedule the appointment, making no apology for no one calling me earlier. Because of the delay in their call, there was no way anyone could come out later that day. This meant another week of not being able to use my oven, as the next available appointment was for the following week.
The following week (1/24) a different repairman called to let me know he was on his way. He replaced the part, showed me where the old part was failing and explained to me the function of the part. He was in an out in no time and was very pleasant and professional.
If it hadn't been for the scheduling department dropping the ball and then not seeming to care about that fact, I would have rated this whole experience as an A. As it is, the scheduling department's service dropped it to a B.

I bought the maintenance agreement. They came when they said they would come. They did a good job on the repair. He said that eventually I was going to need another part so he ordered it so that I will have it when the repairman has to come again.
